‘Right to exist’ ‘Extinguishing a trans person’s right to existence’
How often is that transactivist phrase reiterated whenever anyone expresses a concern about a policy regarding gender that might harm woman and children?
Kemi Badenoch’s right to exist, however, evidently does not count.
Since when is it all right for a public figure to stand up at an awards ceremony and feel it is justified to speak of any of anyone in these terms, let alone a public servant?
It looks like incitement and hate speech.
Or would Kier Starmer prefer to call it,
“Toxcity on both sides of the debate”?
And why? Because she is intelligent enough to understand the Equality Act, see its limitations in protecting women as intended, and try to set about making it work, in practice, just as it was intended to - indeed as Sir Kier himself maintains it does already work!
But of course we know the more likely truth, that it suits KS that doesn’t work.
Otherwise he too would need to worry about being denounced by David Tenant.
