I can see that a parent of a trans-identifying child would feel very sensitive about the genuine, actual, transphobia that is out there.

He needs to focus on thugs who abuse and insult people simply for being trans.

KB, much as I despise much of what she says as a Tory, fulfills her role in protecting women’s rights where there is compromise from trans demands.

Angela Raynor still sits there beside Starmer in spite of the fact her partner, Sam Tarry, was de-selected by Starmer for supporting a strike, and in spite of the fact that Jeremy Corbyn was thrown out. Starmer will say and do almost anything to get elected and has betrayed all of his former pledges and commitments, as well as any principles he may once have had.

I suspect most cabinet MPs are poor constituency MPs as they simply haven't got the time to attend to most constituency matters - alongside their full time and demanding cabinet posts.

on another note, has he really got a 9 yo child that is trans/itioning? That’s so young and so sad. Can the kid not just go and play outside on roller skates for a couple of years like we did back in the day? Sounds like a lot more fun than trying to make yourself literally into a round peg which will never fit into the square hole of your biological reality.

The heirarchy of oppression is becoming clearer.

Those who used to be able to claim they were oppressed - with centuries of evidence to bolster the claim - were female, black, gay. These have now been relegated to the ‘minor oppression’ league, while alone at the top we have white, middle aged, heterosexual, men in dresses transwomen.

You are absolutely right. He gives me the creeps. Always has. He always seemed to be performing 'what a nice guy I am'.

This is judgemental but when I saw his wife in that lockdown show they did, I thought, I've got the measure of you: child-faced little blonde, 13 years his junior, way less successful but from good acting aristocracy. He's off filming all over the place while she wrangles their five kids. I've met a few men like him before, and they all play nice but underneath they are utterly self-serving, so they require women to be biddable and pliant.

When hes telling her to shut up and that she shouldnt exist purely because she believes men cannot change sex, then thats a whole other story!

I listened to david tennant does a podcast in the panemic, christ he LOVES himself he does.
