Wicked is the right word. In the most traditional possible sense. When I read that one of the so-called 'harmless' puberty blockers they've been giving to these kids was buserelin, my jaw dropped.
The stuff is fucking brutal. It was given to me as a down regulation drug when I underwent IVF, meaning that I only took it for relatively short periods. But even in that short window it nearly sent me potty. I had blurred vision (and that scared me senseless; my mother died of a brain tumour). Emotions were all over the place and I was tearful all the time. It also caused quite severe short-term memory loss.
What must this stuff do to your body if you take it for longer periods? A quick Google search provided answers. Joint pain. Vaginal atrophy. Sexual dysfunction. Osteoporosis.
Some parents have tried to do the best they can by their children. They trusted the children's charities and medical professions who lied to them and treated their children as nothing more than experiments. No follow-up research to show what the longer-term effects would be. It's predictable that there will be a mass action taken against GIDS at some point, and the fallout will be enormous. All the while, certain idiotic captured doctors are still posting on X, adamant that they will continue prescribe this dangerous, experimental treatment to children despite a lack of knowledge as to its real longer-term effects.
Mermaids and others claimed such drugs were harmless. That their effects were reversible. IMO, every single organisation that's been peddling this dangerous misinformation should be tried for nothing short of crimes against humanity. More so the fucking doctors who prescribed it. They have broken their Hippocratic Aath. Actually, scrub that. Wicked isn't the right word. What it is, is monstrous.
Meanwhile, Hilary Cass can't use public transport.
Furious today. As far as I'm concerned, the Greens can ram it.
