Not sure if he’s still on here, but @Glinner, thank you so much for being an ally in the true sense of the word. Thank you for everything you sacrificed in the name of truth, science, and female equality. I hope the Cass report gives you some vindication, as it has done so many of us. The tide has turned, the emperor is naked. Thank you for believing and supporting GC women from the start.

Thank you for speaking out for women and for their safe spaces and all the abuse you have gotten for it. That interview that Alec posted, the woman so rude and kept taking over him and twisting everything he was saying.
Thank you also for Fr. Ted as grew up in Ireland where the church seem to be the voice for all and everyone I know loves Fr. Ted. You are such a talented man and an inspiration for other men to call out this madness. Keep strong and know you are appreciated.

It's a great read @Needapadlockonmyfridge . So redolent of my own childhood and youth around Dublin. And very insightful about the craft of writing for TV/ radio. The little tricks - and the pitfalls. Quite gossipy too about writers and actors but never in a snide way?

The second part had me raging again. But...he is a gifted writer in any form. I'd love another book expanding on those early days in Hot Press and the International Bar comedy and rock music scene.
