KJK’s insane rant

Kjk’s decision to attack everyone who is not her lapdog is increasingly destructive. It looks like Can-sg put on a great conference. Those doctors who have spoken up have risked their careers. Kjk has become famous and has started a business from LWS. She has benefited way more than any of these doctors.

Her work could be powerful if she just stopped attacking everyone else. But these days she is a demagogue and causes more harm than good by capitalising on vulnerable and timid women and telling them that they need her to speak for them.

Yet here you are, attacking her.

We need angry women.

Angry women have cleared the path and created the space for doctors to speak.

And even at her angriest, KJK has never set off smoke bombs or tried to smash her way into a building, or worn a disguise to evade arrest.

That’s right @ArabellaScott , well spotted. The problem is that if I choose to hold an event it is clear that kjk would attack me. If I want to avoid attack, and if I want to speak, my only option is to go to her events and cheer her on.

This. I've been to LWS events. Any woman can talk (and then the men, if there's time). They are truly grassroots empowering spaces and there simply isn't anything else I've ever seen like this for women in today's society. There were so many women almost weeping because they'd had the chance to actually tell the truth about their lives.

She doesn't speak for women, she lets them speak. I've heard extremely religious women speaking at KJK's events and I'm fairly sure that KJK wouldn't agree with a lot of what they said - but nevertheless they got the chance to speak and the women and men there had the chance to hear and agree or disagree. It's was all delightfully comradely and respectful on the LWS side.

Not so much with the youth in masks wanting to beat up proxies for their parents (as far as I can tell this is mostly what's driving it).

You have a lot of personal disdain for a woman you have simultaneously claimed is a brilliant speaker and heads up an organisation you think could be brilliant and seem to largely agree with on the issues she tackles.

It feels like you have an axe to grind that is more about her than anything she's actually done or said.

Also the accusation that she's ruining things 'just when we're getting places' is one that's been levelled at her for at least the last 6 years or more. Yet here we still are getting places.

I think this because I see her slagging the wrong people off all the time. Please show me examples where kjk bigs up other organisations? Any example will do

Rubbish.

Plenty of other women's groups, WPUK, Filia, Sex Matters etc run events and KJK doesn't attack them. And you're free to attend them instead if you don't like KJK's approach. No-one's forcing you to attend LWS events.

Is this why you dislike her? You want to do something of your own or have tried to and feel she is a barrier to that?

In my opinion, she has really pulled her punches, and been very gracious about people who deserved for her to do her worst.

How many were there @Signalbox ? I just saw a video of a woman (not kjk) rambling on and on and didn’t think much of it. Kjk is a brilliant speaker but her events are awful imo

I've been to plenty of LWS events and they've always been great. They don't need to be a fancy flag-waving rally or a stand-off with protestors to be what they are supposed to be: a place for women to get together and speak. If you don't like the events then don't bloody attend.

As for KJK, as PPs have said she has every right to be angry. I don't necessarily agree with everything she says but by and large I do. She has done an amazing job of creating discussion, bringing issues to the fore and being absolutely stellar in highlighting the harm and hypocrisies of gender ideology.

She did all that, and at cost to herself and her family. She's been open about how she's been reported to the police and her children harassed and goodness knows what else. She still carried on and all power to her elbow.

There are those who think we shouldn't be abrasive/shrill/ranting insanely once we've got a toe in the door because it turns people away from women's causes. I say bollocks to that, we need to be louder and angrier. Being emollient and kind achieves nothing other than a pat on the head and a "There, there dear, we've all heard what you've got to say, now run along".

But it’s interesting that you’re critical of KJK for being critical of an event that she didn’t attend when you are on here being critical of a LWS event that you didn’t attend.

Personally I think criticism is fine.

KJK is very much of the opinion that no hormones should be available at all for children. She thinks it’s child abuse. I can understand if that’s her position why she’s angry. Anyone proposing children are entered into a puberty blocker research study is not really on the same side as her are they?

You know what, I'm not a fan of KJK, I think her approach is a bit "bull in a china shop", but the idea that she goes out randomly attacking any event that isn't LWS is just absolutely "insane", to use your term.

You're just making stuff up now to support your dislike of the woman.

I do not feel that board disruptors are sending their best people (but then I am massively fucking biased about that.)

I'm assuming from the above you don't like to hear other women talk about their experiences of life, how certain things and events have impacted them as a woman? Wow.

If you find her events with other women soooooo boring then just don't attend (or watch). Quite simple really.

Yeah, part one explains totally why she was so upset and so fucking angry. I was bloody angry just watching it again and I want in the middle of it at the time. Watching that KJK will have been right back in the middle of that crowd thinking she was going to die.

B. You've moved the bloody goalposts. Your issue was with KJK attacking others events, now she has to support them?

What sort of event were you planning to do that you are now too scared to do? Some of us might like to come to it and help support you. But we would need to know more about it first. We are very good at supporting different people/causes.

I have wasted a bit of time looking for the ‘queen’s speech’ video she did a few years back, and can’t find it. Maybe someone else could. In that one, she actually compliments and encourages people to support organisations which had treated her so badly, they effectively put a target on her and her family’s back.

In it, she went over and above what you are asking for.
