Kjk’s decision to attack everyone who is not her lapdog is increasingly destructive. It looks like Can-sg put on a great conference. Those doctors who have spoken up have risked their careers. Kjk has become famous and has started a business from LWS. She has benefited way more than any of these doctors.

Her work could be powerful if she just stopped attacking everyone else. But these days she is a demagogue and causes more harm than good by capitalising on vulnerable and timid women and telling them that they need her to speak for them.

No she doesn’t actually @WarriorN . She completely falters at that point. She says “it’s not a thing” then says it again. So what should all the messed up kids and terrified parents do with that? She is way out of her league and doesn’t know what she’s talking about

In children it's driven by sexism and a level of homophobia which can be overt or subliminal. As well as the internet.

I'm 100% with KJK - the Doctors seem insane to me - medicalising puberty is disgusting - leave children alone.

I don't know that I agree the medical community is 'our side' as such. I'm glad this is finally being addressed and discussed but they will have different parameters, agendas and values to feminists, women, mothers etc.

In the same way I'm glad some politicians pay attention and address the issues but they also are not necessarily our side either.

I don't think it's an issue to be critical of them considering the positions they hold.

The reason why she is upset is her LWS was poorly attended while Cansg received loads of attention. She’s nearly crying because the trans activists didn’t really bother to attend her event and there was huge media coverage of the can-sg event.

I went to the LWS event on Sunday. It was reasonably well attended for an event that happens every single month throughout the year come rain or shine.

There was no sense that anyone was annoyed by the lack of a counter demo. One trans activist turned up and was thrown out the park by police for acting like a dick and we were all glad when he was escorted away from the event. I expect the reason that TRAs don’t attend her events in London anymore is that they are too Lazy to demonstrate on such a regular basis and they can’t get the numbers to pose a threat.

My point is that kjk needs to stop attacking other organisations who agree with her. She can take her approach all she wants but she should Let Doctors Speak.

Not sure she says it here but we can't miss out the fact that some parents really also appear to want the child to be trans. And push it a lot.

She did let the doctors speak, and she heard what they are saying. That its OK to sterilise an otherwise healthy child sometimes, and as long as they are used as part of a study.

How many were there @Signalbox ? I just saw a video of a woman (not kjk) rambling on and on and didn’t think much of it. Kjk is a brilliant speaker but her events are awful imo . I don't always agree with KJK and I sometimes wouldn't / can't do what she does as I have different approaches.

Silencing people is what got us to this point.

You disagree with her opinion here. Which is fine, but please use better persuasive language than "insane" which ain't effective debate.

KJK started with trying to book rooms annd speak ant conferences and has those bookings cancelled.

That’s why LWS was formed to be outside and unticketed so any woman could attend for free.

It’s not just as easy as “book a room” when many venues cancel or refuse to allow the booking.

My point was that I think it was a terrible video, motivated by jealousy, she breeds disunity and she is increasingly destructive just when we’re getting places.
And we got places because of many people’s efforts. Where would we be without Keira bell? Where would we be without Ritchie ? (Ritchie was at the conference not at LWS). Where would we be without Dave Bell? Kjk is one of many

If only women could control their emotions and speak nicely they could have more influence, except you don't want too much influence because that makes you look dodgy. And if you criticise anyone else its because you're jealous.

No @Thelnebriati that isn’t my point.I haven’t suggested that anyone speaks nicely so stop implying I have. No one has to speak nicely. It’s just stupid and destructive to slag off people on your own side, especially when they are under pressure and appear to have made a positive difference.

I would call it an ‘identity disorder’ as it was called before activists got it recategorised.

This identity disorder has a similar origin to other identity disorders- eg- trauma and neurodiversity, but the sexual nature of this identity disorder (that it is related to a person’s sex), means it also correlates with psychological issues/dysfunction around sexuality, sexual orientation and sexual expression.

Its a ‘sexual identity disorder’.

In pre-pubescent children, it’s more like a child identifying as a dog so they can eat out of a bowl on the floor and sleep in the dog basket - basically doing things they want to do, but are viewed as socially unacceptable for their sex (or species). They will probably grow out of it, so it isn’t a good idea to fix a label on them before they mature.

Its 100% psychological whatever.

Yes this really should be the question that is asked.

The only circumstance where this should be deemed acceptable is where genuinely life saving treatment is required and the side effects of that treatment cause infertility.

This is why the suicide narrative is so crucial to trans activism so they can position the transitioning of a child as lifesaving treatment.

So if (as seems to be the case) the suicide stats are deeply flawed and transition is removed from the category of “lifesaving” treatment there is no case for research that we know will cause infertility.
