The Hate Crime...crime(?) comes into force on 1st April, according to the article. The SNP has not engaged with any of the organisations who have expressed concerns and no-one knows what, if any, training the Police have been given.

IW is trying to be clever, I'm sure of that. I'm not very optimistic IW is succeeding in being clever (we'll see won't we). Good luck with whatever the fuck you think you're up to IW, you'll need it.

The trouble with IW is that IW cannot help IWself.

IW will hate having to refrain from naming JKR and other targets. Noticeably today it is all channeled instead against the GC belief, protected in law, which IW calls a cult.

Denigrating a whole group based on their protected belief is as close as IW dares go at the moment.

I'm thinking IW got a legal letter along the lines of "made comments about my client xxx times" and like a 5 year old who thinks they are a lawyer in the court of mum and dad IW thinks reposting other people's comments don't count.....

Does anyone who is on Xitter know what's going on regarding JKR and the attacks she had had RE the Holocaust from Montgomery and various other TRA accounts?

I was told that they have taken a new line of attack towards JKR and that this is what they have gone for. I'm not on Xitter though so I can neither comfirm or deny.

Some might think so,I couldn't possibly comment.

From there, we seem to have moved rapidly and erratically through a number of points. Here are some.

1. A journalist and commissioning editor who works for Novara Media who tweeted in delight about Hamas' attack on 7th October and then deleted it has also called JKR a Holocaust denier and then deleted it. Some have wondered if lawyers were involved.
2. Many have clarified that the Holocaust is a term applied exclusively to the Nazis' attempt to exterminate all Jews. Calling JKR a Holocaust denier is nonsense because she is not denying anything to do with the deaths of six million Jews.
3. Trans rights activists are insistent that the Nazis targeted transgender people, the implication being that they were a huge oppressed group on a par with the Roma, people with disabilities, Communists and gay men, all of whom suffered horribly under the Nazis. They keep mentioning an article on this topic from the Smithsonian which apparently is discredited because the author claimed to have been involved in a recent German case on this subject and she wasn't. I haven't yet seen a decent attempt to rebut the points made by Malcolm Clark and others that the only people known to have been killed by the Nazis who were also known to be crossdressers at least occasionally were also either Jewish or gay men or both, and were imprisoned and killed because of those characteristics. Apparently four such cases are known. Tragic, but hardly on the scale of the Shoah and the other mass murders.

It's pretty clear by now that they have demonised JKR to such an extent that they'll say anything about her. Facts and evidence are irrelevant. Fortunately, it's also become clear that she's reached the end of her tolerance and isn't going to stand for it any more.

This is so offensive and so batshit that you have to wonder about the sanity and/or motivation of the person who posted it.

From what I am seeing on Twitter is they are saying that trans people were the first group the nazis targeted.
I think I saw an article that 3 trans people died in concentration camps, but they seem desperate to make out they were a majorly targeted group. From the large numbers died I am sure most groups are represented on a small scale, but not the main targets.
Its actually sickening.

So, some people will go as low as they can to find anything - real or not - to show that she is 'a bad person' and that they are, by contrast, on the side of the Angels.

I guess I shouldn't be surprised that what I was told is true, but I did hope that it was made-up.

I think it stems from the fact that Dr Magnus Hirschfeld's Institute was looted and burned in 1935. The TRAs believe it was an institute for research into transgender issues, medicine and surgery. It wasn't. It was an Institute of Sexology. Hirschfeld was both Jewish and gay so naturally was going to be a target. He lost his citizenship and was forced into exile in France, where he died. One of his many research and clinical interests was sexual reassigment and related surgery and he attempted to implant a uterus into Lili Elbe, who of course died not long afterwards from complications of the surgery.
