How the metro can put out this tweet which effectively suggests a woman shouldn't be allowed to speak is beyond me. Shocked but not surprised. Comments are heartening though, as is the ratio.

I read that the BBC are in breach of their charter. Can we organise a "mob" complaint here rather like we did for London Bridge?

The Metro is a fucking scummy paper. They once described a Muslim family who had been victims of a crime as 'benefit claimants', which had nothing to do with the story.

I wrote in and complained and also tried to complain to IPSO, and Metro printed an apology the next day, blaming one of their agencies. Fucking scum are a disgrace.

I’d like to know what is gained the courts recording scarlet Blake as a woman. Will we be able to see if he went to a male prison?!

Every single time a typically male crime like this gets reported as being committed by a woman, it makes every single woman and girl just a little bit less safe.

As females we are constantly evaluating risks. Walking home in the dark, if I'm being followed, naturally I will check who is behind me. If it's a man I will speed up. If it's a woman then I instinctively feel less scared. But if our media pretends that women are just as bad as men, then it makes us question our instincts, which puts us in danger.

That poor little girl in Scotland knew that men were dangerous but got into a car with a transwoman because she had been told that transwomen are women. He subsequently raped her and she's lucky to still be alive.

We know that 9 times as many sex attacks on women happen in mixed sex changing rooms. It's a fact that men are more dangerous than women, and anyone who obscures this fact is putting us all at risk.

JKR things all trans women are men and should be referred to as such is what her point is, and what people are objecting to.

The tweet and article is clearly objecting to her point that this particular man is not a woman.

They, along with some other fucking weirdos, are literally caping for a man who tortured a cat and put it in a blender. A man that stalked the streets, targeted a man, hit him over the head with a bottle, attempted to strangle him, and then threw him in the river to drown. For sexual gratification and to impress his ''girl''friend.

JKR is correct. No women were involved in this crime.

If Blake isn't a man, why is Blake being put in a men's prison? They don't put women in men's prisons, do they? Putting him in a men's prison is admitting he's a man, so what is the point of calling him she? In order to 'be kind'? Why on earth would we want to be kind to someone like Blake?

Some transgender people are shitty human beings. It doesn't stop them being transgender. Lucy Letby isn't a shitty human being because she's not transgender, neither are Jade Berry or Lily Cade.

Think of another group, particularly a group which has historically been oppressed for millennia. Now state some people or things which are -by definition- excluded from that group, particularly people from the group who has oppressed them and now say that they belong to that group in a simple [by definition excluded from the group] are [the group] format. It won’t look very friendly.

But it is true to say transwomen are not women. They never have been, aren't now and never will be.

How surprising that a male person wishes to dictate what is misogynistic and what is not? Wedging a group of male people into the word which is needed to describe the experiences female people have exclusive to any male person removes that word from our language.

What other group would you tell to accept a forced change of their language established for centuries to accept a group that is opposite to intended group?
