So 'ban' is another word that has been redefined through the trans-latorthon 3000?

I also have a selection of rum, whisky, wine and tequila.

My cocktail cabinet overfloweth.

Its like the biblical parable..only with gin and pom bears/traybake.

We’ll let it go on this occasion but you should consider yourself sternly warned about such transgressions.

I have twenty six bottles of it,I'll bring the lot.

What about me? You are discriminating against me. You should try to be more inclusive.

I suppose I could blow the dust off a bottle of Grappa.

"Fear for safety in open category

The new rules forbade transgender cyclists from competing with biogolical women, and resulted in an “open” category. To Bridges, however, that constitutes a ban.

“A ban is a ban. You can say you can compete in the open category, but we’re women – we should be able to race in the women’s category,” she said.

Bridges expressed concerns about her safety if she were to compete alongside men and disapproved of transgender women being compelled to disclose their identity in order to participate in the category."

So - is Bridges being forced to self-exclude to protect the Bridges-self?

How heartbreaking!

And totally different to all of those women forced to self-exclude from practically every female space everywhere, in sport and out of it, because it is now invaded by male-bodies in the form of Bridges and Bridge's ilk*. Those woman are just jealous drama queens who are being petty and ridiculous.

*I don't often get the chance to use "ilk". It was surprisingly satisfying.

Bridges should train harder to be competitive on the open category.

I have zero sympathy for anyone who has stood by the abuse of women in sport and then has the audacity to claim they've been hard done by.

The video is really interesting watching.

Some of these biological men are getting scholarships for their tuition based on their playing their sport in the women's team. They stayed on the court throughout the match whilst biological women without their strength, size and advantage, were kept watching on the sub bench. Pushed aside by biological men who say they are women.

Why don't more women stand up against this nonsense. Why simper for the men who feel like women. Woman up and stand up for women.

Because it's quite literally illegal in Canada since bill C-16 passed in 2017 not to allow them to play (discrimination), or to protest against them playing (hate crime). That's the result of self ID brought into law with no Equalities Act type exception clauses like in the UK.

You risk being charged with a crime yourself if you a coach, you a player, you a parent, you a spectator, dare say that this isn't fair or take steps to disallow it.

At best all you can do is refuse to play, quit the team, Canada really does need a lawsuit to sort this -- it will not be reversed or changed unless the Supreme Court rules the self ID law to be unlawful. I'm not holding my breath.
