Agreed @BlackForestCake

If necessary the venue should be policed on the day - it shouldn't be cancelled.

Yes, except that the police are a) captured and b) misogynistic.

SinnerBoy · 17/02/2024 11:32

KJK just said that it's the venue, rather than Event Brite, which has cancelled the event.

BezMills · 17/02/2024 11:59

They are acting on advice from some Labour schmoe.. that smells of bad fish

EasternStandard · 17/02/2024 12:03

Not sleep walking into censorship at all then

AlisonDonut · 17/02/2024 13:46

They are rather proving her point aren't they?

DrSpartacular · 17/02/2024 13:50

As always!

BezMills · 17/02/2024 15:51

The absolute state of that. So a Labour party officer gets involved in something that is none of their god damn business, telling tall tales about KJKs supposed Nazi fan club that will endanger the public? The only people who have endangered the public at any of her events are the TRA mob. Decking grannies and starting a riot in NZ springs to mind

JanesLittleGirl · 17/02/2024 16:04

Well that went swimmingly for Labour didn't it? KJK gets lots of positive column inches while Labour show themselves to be undemocratic cnuts.

The letter the Labour Party sent is reported here. Worried about Nazis turning up apparently!

Bloody hell! That letter! I'm ashamed of the Labour Party right now!

Posie has launched her new party!
MatchingBedding · 17/02/2024 16:16

Why not let her have her platform so the public can hear her hateful transphobic rhetoric for themselves? Well we know why don’t we? That letter is appalling. I’m ashamed for them.

HermioneWeasley · 17/02/2024 16:18

Aaaand, this is why I won’t vote Labour.

Aaaand, me also. Just can't be trusted.

Bloody hell that letter

It is utterly woeful. What utter idiots

LWSnow · 17/02/2024 16:44

Remember ladies, there's more important men's things to vote for. When labour get in , once they've sorted out the important issues, they'll sort out women's rights.
or so I've been told on this board.

theilltemperedclavecinist · 17/02/2024 16:47

That statement from the venue sounds like the transcript from a hostage video. They fear a boycott by certain clientele perhaps?

Froodwithatowel · 17/02/2024 16:51

Flipping heck.

Posie, get the well deserved wine and a box set out and put your feet up. You don't have to do much at all, these idiots are going to do it all for you.

IcakethereforeIam · 17/02/2024 17:00

I've just read the article in the DM. I think quote from the increasingly ironically named Hope Not Hate is libellous.

SinnerBoy · 17/02/2024 17:15

We have been contacted by several LGBTQ+ residents in Haringey who are deeply worried about the attendance of Kellie-Jay Keen (also known as Posie Parker) at a fundraiser, 'The Future of British Politics' to be hosted at your pub on 17th February.

Because she's very good at pointing out the flaws in the mince we put forward as arguments for our case. Also, she does a lot of nuclear grade eye rolling, when confronted with some ludicrous statement and this will be very damaging to us.

Violence could well occur, because lots of us may be forced to attend, scream, shout shove and punch some of the horrible women, so all in all, it's probably best to ban the event, as we are no longer allowed to lock them up, because the law's transphobic and wrong.

Love and kisses,

Hopeless Hate.

I'm sure that some of the incredibly prolific Good Party Supporters who are ever so eager to castigate FWRers who dare to despair about who to vote for, will be just falling over themselves to explain to these people how

There Are More Important Things Than Genderism

and

Nobody Cares About Genderism So Don't Discuss It

and

Don't Talk About Anything Which Makes the Good Party Look Asinine

Hmm

I need a t shirt with most of this on, but particularly 'nuclear grade eye rolling'.

You've got to hand it to Posie, she doesn't need to scream and punch, she just puts on mascara.

That's because she's got 2 X-chromosomes and she ain't afraid to use them!

IwantToRetire · 17/02/2024 20:40

I am really glad the Daily Mail has picked this up because it is so disgraceful, and the pub looks like a complete idiot saying a meeting that has speakers from different groups is not acceptable.

But deep down I have this sinking feeling that if it turns out only the DM reports on this attack on open political discussion, that the self serving "left" wokeratti and just going to feel vindicated.

The depths to which Labour has sunk.

And the games commence!

https://twitter.com/ThePosieParker/status/1758576964401557860?s=19

This event is cancelled because the executive of Hornsey and Friern Barnet constituency @UKLabour told the venue that my attendance would create a dangerous and hostile environment for residents.

I posted early in this thread saying that I thought Labour 'interns' might try to find ways to stop KJK from debating in public during the election campaign and was told that Labour wouldn’t do that 🙄

Is there a T-shirt big enough?
