I just want to thank all these women for speaking out for women despite the obstacles put in their place. It's getting easier for the rest of us now.

I don't think the gay community is happy with her. A Dublin gay bar has a "f**k you JK Rowing" sign up.

Why don't they like her rowing? 🚣 weird.

I'm very grateful for the women on here 5-8 years ago — most of whom HQ booted off MN because men told them to —who kept reminding us that NO men were women, not even the nice ones, and held that firm line, explaining it again and again, making thousands (tens of, hundreds of thousands?) of women able to think and talk it through too.

Barracker, LangCleg, AngryAttackKittens, Ro, Datun, Dittany, to name but a few.

(Just remembered that MNHQ banned women from asking politicians on the webchats about women's rights, deleting posts before our very eyes and banning the women. And we wonder why politicians claim "nobody ever asks me about this, its a non issue").

I'd like to mention Lucy Masoud. I knew her as a younger woman and I'm so proud of her. She has grown in strength to become an exceptional woman.

Thank you to all the women mentioned above and to all those whose names we do not yet know, but who'll continue to stand for women, support women, speak for women, fight for women.
