Roz Adams was employed by Edinburgh Rape Crisis Centre (ERCC) as a counsellor. She is claiming constructive dismissal for Gender Critical (GC) beliefs. The CEO of ERCC is a well known transwoman known for, among other things, controversial "reframe your trauma" remarks.

I know this is where the courtroom junkies hang .....

We are hoping to have coverage of Tickle vs Giggle on Tribunal Tweets 2 from Tuesday.

Yay!

Is there a decision? Tweet from Julie Bindel suggests there may be? https://x.com/bindelj/status/1792314771842245097

Waitwhat23 · 19/05/2024 23:22

Yep. Roz won. From what I've seen of the judgement, the ERCC have been excoriated for their poor behaviour.

TheABC · 19/05/2024 23:23

Does anyone have a link to the judgement?

Propertylover · 19/05/2024 23:26

I was just thinking about this case earlier today.

So pleased for Ros.

Waitwhat23 · 19/05/2024 23:28

It's on the front page of The Times, Scotland tomorrow morning too.

TheABC · 19/05/2024 23:40

Thank you. I've just skimmed through - that judgement is scathing about ERCC and it's disciplinary process.

TheseCowsAreSmall · 20/05/2024 07:56

A unequivocal judgment. Paras 211-214 are particularly 🔥

Congratulations Roz, Naomi C and the team 👏

BezMills · 20/05/2024 08:07

I'm so glad for Roz. When I followed the tribunal on here, it seemed like ERCC were on a hiding to nothing and had offered up the work experience kids to defend the case because, well we all know why that is.

HandsomeCleverandRich · 20/05/2024 08:15

Congratulations Roz Adams and amazing work Naomi Cunningham

I'm a recent namechanger (thanks Aston Gerbils) but regular on these boards, you can trust the link.

How many more of these exhausting tribunals have to happen???

cordeliachaseatemyhandbag · 20/05/2024 08:28

Yeah!

Let's hope all RCC & women's aid learn from this!

SirChenjins · 20/05/2024 08:33

Excellent news! The tide does seem to be turning finally - it seems there are becoming fewer places for these men and their handmaidens to hide.

FigRollsAlly · 20/05/2024 10:17

Wonderful news! Looking forward to reading the judgement when time allows.

SqueakyDinosaur · 20/05/2024 16:55

The Times article has been updated to reflect that 2 trustees have resigned and to report "growing pressure" on Mr Idul Wadwha to resign too.

If Wadhwa had a scintilla of shame Wadhwa would be long gone.

GoodHeavens99 · 20/05/2024 17:33

MW is a shame-free-zone.

We all know that the only reason they took the job was to further the ideology.

I don't want to get a rollicking. Can i use the correct pronoun for Wadhwa?

Boiledbeetle · 20/05/2024 17:34

MW should man up take it on the chin and quit.

EmmyPankhurst · 20/05/2024 17:48

Do we know which trustees have resigned?

Are they looking for new ones... I'm considering trying to motivate people to volunteer to bring some sanity back.

I’ll happily take the rollicking - he should resign for the damage he’s done to women.

Strangely enough there are two trustee roles advertised on their website:

https://www.ercc.scot/board-recruitment/#

Unclear if this is to replace the two who resigned.
