@FlippinFumin
There has been no 'official' condemnation of the atrocities carried out against women and girls by Hamas.
I know already Biden and Sunak have. Many MPs have. UN reps have and there has been a UN meeting with over 800 reps for hearing and gathering evidence specifically for the war crime of VAWG by Hamas. If this is not it, what would official look like?
To be fair I have seen many women, like myself, lefty women, who have always supported the Palestinian cause, step back because of the events of October 7th. A nation that has chosen as its leaders men with this level of hatred for women is not a nation I can fully support.
The last election held in Gaza was in 2004.
Given that just over half of the current population is children (weren’t alive) and another 25% are under the age of 38 (not old enough to vote in 2004), then 75% of the population will never have even had the chance to vote, never mind choose to vote for Hamas. Gazan Palestinians haven’t chosen this.
I will note alongside the horrific events carried out by Hamas, there are longterm accounts of violence and sexual violence, including rape against Palestinian women and girls, and also boys in Israeli prisons.
