Fantastic letter from Fair Cop and well done to the KCs who are willing to act pro bono. It's about time the police were reigned in - too many of them use their position to bully and abuse women and we're going to have more Couzen's-like incidents if there isn't change.

The change needed is the police start operating within the law, start policing real crime, particularly those crimes that are red flags for future more serious offending like flashing, and stop illegally using their position to threaten and intimidate women who have opinions they don't like.

It seems that the 'NUFC contacting the cops' thing I posted about yesterday is probably a fabrication.

However, to slightly run with @LarkLane's comments, if the police had asked the ordinary people who go to watch NUFC play football about A's Tweets - they'd have pretty much all agreed with her. I'd bet my house on it. Like LarkLane's builders agree. Because they are ordinary people who live in the real world.

The attention this has received has been quite overwhelming for her. We talked yesterday about this situation, drawn out for more than a week before the case was closed with no further action, on Friday 10th November.

The group of men who have proudly boasted about being the source of the complaint, have continued to harass her in spite of locking down her social media accounts. Cue the absurd ‘She compared herself to Hitler’ quote reposts from the weird little twerps.

A press article has caused her family to feel concerned. For now, this is not something she wants to discuss further. If and when she is ready to show the recording of the whole story, she will let us know.

With her express permission, can I ask that speculation around the whole thing is put to rest for now?
