I saw a woman wearing a T shirt saying 'Butches against transphobia' today. It astounds me that some lesbians would think that way. I wonder what she would do if presented with a penis on a date?

Possible the problem you had was you weren't identifying correctly, Jane. What you want to do is check the non binary settings and see if your flange has slipped into the wrong dookit.

Actually I hate to say it, @JanesLittleGirl, but women just aren't as good at peeing as men are. That's probably where you are going wrong. Don't worry about it.

There weren't any settings, non binary or otherwise. The SheWee flange seemed to fit properly but I guess that it's the same as all plumbing - you only find out if there is a good seal when the water is flowing.

Well, Spiderbloke. Funny story. I got this nonbinary flange from a chap in the pub. Kept them all in a biscuit tin with a Progress Pride sticker on it. Top quality gendermerch, he said, Stonewall certified, guaranteed compatible with any genderfeel and identity-bracket. BOGOF, too, so I got a cakegender thrown in for nix. But I'm buggered if it didn't come apart as soon as I got it home and exposed it to the light. Let alone pissed in it.

Anecdotally, every time @MarkBamborough and I have bought gendermerch which is supposed to be compatible with all identities and genderfeels, it has worked much better for him than it does for me. It's almost as if you need a penis for these things to really work for you.
