Interesting to see this article surface.

The Guardian is embroiled in more turmoil over its stance on the trans debate, with an internal meeting setting staff at loggerheads.

I stopped reading the Guardian when I realised that it didn't care about any part of the UK outside Islington and furthermore that it regarded all working class Britons as boorish, gullible and prejudiced.

I realised this in 2014. Yes, I am generally quite slow on the uptake.

No wonder global corporations are so keen on identity politics and all its devil's spawn offspring. Nestlé pushing formula in Africa and pushing-out breast feeding, Coco Cola poisoning populations with sugary drinks and sucking up the water supplies, that will be our fault all along. We made them do it.

And where are the most enthusiastic propagandists for identity politics? On the Left and in the Greens. Politicians and brainwashed puppets in the press guilt-tripping the common people that we are the cause of the world's ills.

When this unholy alliance decides it's the right time to condemn the monstrous impact of electric vehicles, that will have been our fault too, "the West", not the rapacious corporations who have appropriated, corrupted and are cashing in on environmentalism.

Ahh, identity politics as the empty calories of public discourse. Easy to mass produce, addictive to a substantial part of the population, and tends to squeeze out more robust, harder to digest, but more nutritious intellectual fodder.

Well I don’t know about you lot but I’m now completely convinced that there’s no way the US medical industry is going after a market with an estimated revenue of $5bn. I mean, what’s in it for them?

Absolutely. Move along now, nothing to see here, nothing to see …

On the Guardian's issue at last people are realising some trans people went too far and that there are a range of views on this and many topics rather than the one right path of the true socialist way…

Aaaagh! Identity politics is far from socialist, and transgenderism is about as unsocialist as you can get! Solipsistic, hyper-individualistic at the expense of the community, and based on fantasy rather than material reality.

I can understand credulous teenagers falling for the seductive propaganda, that they are very very special people.

But what happened to the grown-ups? The Labour Party, the unions? Even the Greens, though it’s easier to see how a small party can be infiltrated and turned.

Most sane adults know what’s real, if they take time to think about it. But if they are left wingers, politics is a lonely place right now.
