He also contributed to the book but claims it wasn’t him. He says he didn’t write this review. He also says the attached letter to The Guardian about the positive nature of child-adult sexual relations was edited and that’s not what he meant.

Man has a lot of bad luck.

He's turned his replies off! Never seen him do that before, even when people are repeatedly posting evidence of his disgusting paedophile apologia under every post.

He knows enough about trans activists to know they're more terrifying.

Here's Malcom Clark's detailed analysis of the background to Tatchell's comments in the Guardian that sex between children & adults could be "beneficial and enjoyable".

Warning - it's a gruelling read about child abuse in the Sambia tribe, of Papua New Guinea. Tatchell cited this tribe as an example of "consenting inter-generational sex...considered normal, beneficial and enjoyable by old and young alike."

Presumably his organisation teaching sex ed to children in schools has bookings for the new school year? 😰

It is similar to saying sex with children was common and natural on the Pitcairn Isle, therefore we should welcome it in our society too.

Except it was awful abuse.

He also advocates that older children in schools should be taught in compulsory sex ed lessons by adults how to give and receive sexual pleasure.
He evidently has no idea of the dynamics of classrooms, the extent of differences between individual children & groups, the nature of sexual harassment & abuse, or anything relating to child development / psychology. Let alone concepts of boundaries and consent. But he is determined that this is how children should be taught about sex.

Remember this is a man with an organisation dedicated to going into schools to talk about sex to children and some schools pay him for this advice.

Crucial point.

There will always be those who seek to undermine safeguarding.

We should by now have understandings and systems in place that robustly resist these efforts, rather than a culture that actively promotes and encourages them.

How do you get so steeped in pursuing every kind of sex that you end up defending the indefensible on a variety of public platforms?

I mean, it’s all very pleasant, etc, but Jesus Christ, is it worth dying on the grossest hill available?

I can only conclude it’s not about the sex for Dodgy Pete. It’s about the power. As is the case for sexual abusers of every ilk.
