I thought this was a piss take at first, but it's real.

Patrick Harvie and a bunch of trans activists protested the recent international event in Glasgow.

A man protesting women's sport.

For Women Scotland also took aim at Harvie specifically, writing: “It seems MSP and gov minister Patrick Harvie showed up to undermine women's sport and a prestigious competition in Glasgow, to shill for the rights of cheating men.”

Yes, I saw on TV trans flags at the side of part of the course. I also read that the protestors were surrounded by police. So Police Scotland seem to know what's up when it comes to TRAs.

Why is this man so determined to over ride women's rights and to allow men to be identified as women and the concomitant access to women and children where they are changing, in toilets etc?

I don't know much about him. Is there any truth to the rumour that he was involved with or adjacent to or had a prize from the Paedophile Information Exchange? Or am I thinking of someone else?

As far as I can tell, he will be consigned to Malebolge or the eighth circle of Hell. The circle reserved for fraudsters.

Questions were raised about why the protest had targeted the women's elite road race and not the mens'. However, the UCI has not imposed any restrictions on the rights of trans men to enter men's competitions.

The men’s elite road race was halted for an hour by a group of protestors(yawn) one of whom was ‘ protesting’ about the exclusion of people who have experienced male puberty not being allowed to compete in womens races ( at the moment, let’s see how long that lasts).

Just Stop Oil or a similar sort of group - it's not the cycling itself that they take issue with but the sponsors. Ineos, Shell etc.

It was "This is rigged" a similar group of activists. But one of the three was also a TW protesting that men weren't allowed to race against women.

I'm impressed to see Robin Harper is having nothing more to do with them.
