This shows the arrest of a teenage autistic girl by about 5 police officers. From what I can make out it is for a 'hate' crime. She apparently said a police officer was a Lesbian. Her Nan is a lesbian - that police officer is like my Nan.

I cannot comprehend the mindset of these officers.

I agree with you - I am just asking the question from a post by MissLucyEyelesbarrow - 'should they keep their jobs if its not a crime to be racist etc.'

In my opinion - of course they shouldn't. And it does go against Police regulations as you rightly said.

That's why I am against rainbow painted cars, rainbow lanyards, poppies, charity pin badges or aligning to a specific charity etc.

The only Whats App group we have concerns who is bringing the milk in for the day, which obviously isn't offensive.

We don't have any pin badges for vegans.

What we do have in our Whats App group if an officer who is intolerant to milk, so they can request some soya milk when they need some.

@ReginaRegina if SEVEN police officers hadn't turned up to terrorise an autistic child for saying something socially awkward in her own home, they could have all been responding to the many actual crimes that go ignored.

I agree - but I don't think that 7 cops were dispatched for the purpose of dealing with the teenage girl. I suspect the cop present shouted for assistance, so the other cops had to divert from what ever they were doing. They probably didn't know what was at the other end until they arrived.

But you are right. The cop should not have reacted the way she did and should have just walked away from the teenage girl. She was back with her family and safe - any comments made by her should have been ignored by the cop.

The other cops could have carried on with what they were dealing with - and probably never got chance to go back to them.

YOU didn't know. WE (majority of posters) did know. You were constantly told to go and look into it to read up and then you would to. But YOU decided not to.

It's like when the WYP told me that they had no evidence against Jimmy Savile. The reason there was no evidence was they destroyed it all. They attacked and threatened any woman/girl who provided it.

@Felix125 why do the police so consistently pretend to be shocked about child abusers when women have known and been shouting for a long time?
