Is this going to be our (by that, I mean England's) "Isla Bryson moment"?
Ie, the SNP railroaded their Self ID law thru Hollyrood, and weeks later, it was in burning ruins as Bryson drove a horse and coaches through it, running over Nicola Sturgeon in the process.
If it really comes out that this girl's mum's testimony is broadly true, that this tenuous link to a hate crime/public order offense is what precipitated the police overreaction, them heads have got to roll, and the whole hate crime edifice, especially in relation to LGBT needs tearing up.
All those propaganda videos of police at Pride, zero tolerance on hate, and who are the individuals showing pure hate, to a young woman, and an autistic one as well.
Pure pinkwashing, the police remain institutionally failing in almost every respect, certainly they institutionally failed this girl. And every GC woman they haul over the coals for so-called hate speech.
For decades, I was the party bore, sticking up for the police despite their burgeoning shortcomings.
After stuff like KJK being interrogated and cases like this girl, fuck that. Not any more.
Or are we gonna find that Sunak has no time to again grab the moment and work towards an overhaul of the hole civic society has dug for us?
