This shows the arrest of a teenage autistic girl by about 5 police officers. From what I can make out it is for a 'hate' crime. She apparently said a police officer was a Lesbian. Her Nan is a lesbian - that police officer is like my Nan.

I cannot comprehend the mindset of these officers.

I'm too old now but if I could go back in time, I'd train to be a solicitor and stand up for people in cases like this. Dd wants to be a lawyer- I'm going to show her this video and show how it's important to stand up to people with power on behalf of people who don't.

As a parent of an autistic son who has high anxiety about the police and breaking any rules - this made me cry.

I knew SM would rip into her once it all made the news. Good. She deserves every bloody comment going

WYP we’re absolutely horrendous when I needed them for an ongoing issue. I used to get panic attacks every time I had to deal with them. I was the victim in the situation but they treated me appallingly. A female officer reported me to social services because I burst into tears in interview so she said my children were in danger from me. No, I didn’t understand that either. Luckily SS didn’t either and didn’t follow up after phoning me to clarify that really was why she had reported me.

That sounds so awful! Thank goodness SS didn't take the referral any further. It's such mad reasoning.

The female officers in the police seem just as misogynistic as the male officers. No evidence of sexual offences of course, but their hateful attitude to women seems identical.

I've put off watching this as I am a mother to an autistic teenager.

It is one of the most horrific things I've ever seen. This is the second time the police has displayed outrageous hatred for neurodiverse people.
