Do you wear any "Rad Fem"-identifying clothes or accessories?

I was on a bus the other day and sailed past a woman vulva-owner with an Adult Human Female T-shirt on. I almost strained my neck to get a good look at her and nearly broke my face with how much it made me smile.

But I also, ridiculously, thought what a brave person.

I've never seen any "Rad Fem" clothes or accessories out in the wild. I was in a meeting with a woman who wore Venus symbol earrings a few months ago and I got very excited that it was "I believe in two sexes" code. But her Twitter confirms otherwise 🙄

Have you ever seen any out in the wild? If so, what did you feel? What did you do? Do you wear clothes/accessories that might identify you as a biology-believer?

I've got a Your Mum's A Terf t-shirt which I haven't dared to wear outside yet, much to my shame!

I'm feeling very "fuck it" at the moment though, so it may well get its inaugural airing at a music festival I'm going to later this month...if I'm going to do it I may as well go all in

I do wish TERF and radical feminist hadn't become synonyms. There is sooooo much for radical feminists still to do, but we've become completely sidetracked by the trans issues😢

I ve got a tee shirt which is purple, white and green. It doesn’t have a slogan, though, so I suppose it may be too subtle .

However, I am extremely old and so virtually everyone I know thinks that men are men and women are women and that a man in a dress in public is something which would get me modded if I confided it to print.

I did attempt to build a dinosaur in the front garden, but it defeated me , too big. Perhaps I should have a go at just the head….

I have a Help! She’s Saying Things I Don’t Like! Arrest Her! T shirt from The Artist Birdy Rose. Never had any problems wearing it, but the picture is quite detailed and the writing swirly, so as long as I keep moving I think it’s too complicated for haters to read. Plus, no one stares at the chest of a middle aged woman

I absolutely agree. I put "Rad Fem" in quotation marks for this very reason. I don't think its very "radical" to believe in basic biology and child safe-guarding

I was taught by a radical feminist at university. A proper radical feminist. An old school radical feminist. What counts as "radical" these days is nowhere near the kind of mad shit she was proposing.

I need to know more about your dinosaur building antics. What was the dinosaur-that-never-was made from? Did you make the components yourself? Or can we buy flat-pack garden dinosaurs from somewhere?

Not exactly. I have an adult human female t shirt which I have only been brave enough to wear once, a For Women Scotland pin badge (suffragette ribbon) which is always on my handbag strap, and a "women will be women, rational, objective, scientific" tote bag which i use a lot.

I don't, but like you OP, I had an experience of being in the post office queue once and seeing someone ahead of me with an adult human female tee on. I was anxious to speak with her in case, like Starmer's recent statement, she might be taking the concept very liberally.

This is what I'm sad about. I've joined a feminist group in my city (had to be introduced by someone and then vetted by 2 members to join- I think they have had a lot of bad experiences with TRAs). Sadly it's 100% trans issues focussed.

There's so much else to fight for as well. I said this and someone said that while the very definition of the word woman is under threat we need to focus on that first. It was hard to argue.

I've got an AHF t-shirt, I mostly use it for sleeping in or going to the gym though. I generally don't wear t-shirts out and about unless I'm on holiday. Can't say I've ever had anyone notice it.

I have a little bit of suffragette jewellery I wear, got a compliment on it once!

One of the women who vetted me for the feminist network had a silk scarf on in suffragette colours with "woman: adult human female" repeated around the edges that she was wearing like a shawl.

Was in Copenhagen recently and saw a woman with a tote bag that said, I think, AHF. Definitely had the Venus symbol.

Copenhagen is VERY TWAW (gruesome unisex toilets in every new building) . It was at a pedestrian crossing and she was not sufficiently nearby. I wanted to run up to her and shake her hand but couldn't make that work from where I was.

I have a vulva necklace and a dinosaur badge, the worst thing that's happened is a non gender conforming person tutted loudly at at me, and a woman did a loud hawk and spit. I live in a woke town.

I have a dinosaur pin on my winter coat, bought it online and thought it was going to be about 3 inches tall, a decent statement size, but when it arrived it is tiny. Still, it's there! 🦖

My dinosaur tshirt [from Sugarhill Brighton] didn't last long sadly, it went out of shape in the wash.
