People are socialised from birth to accept ' girls are bitchy and manipulative ' .

Indeed. How many times do we hear of "i bet that little girl can wrap daddy around her little finger" or "she's going to break some hearts when she grows up" which somehow morphs into manipulative bitch in some men and women's minds.

It's not something I've heard b

I sometimes think the cops seem to have become even more negligent and lazy about rape cases since DNA evidence.

Which makes me wonder how many of the rape cases they actually bothered with in the past were fit ups. There have been a lot of high profile examples.

As my previous post probably won't reappear it was a direct link to the video in this tweet

Lol, he was the wrong guy!

Take it up with the jury and the court then

How about we take it up with the police that fabricated evidence Felix?

Felix125 · 04/08/2023 09:33

What evidence was 'fabricated'?

The two witnesses provided statements and signed to say 'what appears in the statement is true and accurate' 'I am liable to prosecution if I have willfully stated anything which is false' or words to that effect. It falls under the Criminal Prosecution Rules, Criminal Justice Act and the Magistrates Court Act.

They then stand in court and swear on oath that what they are saying is true.

So what evidence have the police fabricated?

DNA is just part of the evidence - it shows that one person has been in contact or in close proximity to another. It will never be able to show consent or not on its own.

Alltheprettyseahorses · 04/08/2023 10:31

This is utterly horrifying. I hope she gets the justice she deserves. How many other women will have endured similar ordeals at the hands of the police?

DarkDayforMN · 04/08/2023 23:32

Whatever you’re responding to, it wasn’t addressed to you and you didn’t understand it. And duh.

You were suggesting that "...I sometimes think the cops seem to have become even more negligent and lazy about rape cases since DNA evidence...."

DNA is just part of the evidence - so I'm not sure why you think it makes cops negligent and lazy?

Cailleachian · 12/08/2023 03:01

Its all very well having an inquiry into strip searches - but there is substantial evidence that this woman was raped, and yet there seems to be no investigation into this, merely shrugging and lost cctv.

The inquiry looks like a cover up already.

Tweet says
Hello everyone,

A little later than planned but here is the update… please share.❤️

I gave another interview today but the full version is subject to a response from the public enquiry team…. It’s a long one but it’s my story in my words 😊

Thank you once again for your support

there's a video in the tweet. It appears Zayna is being left out of the loop a bit. Purely coincidental I'm sure! given her issues are more than just strip search
