'Our sister @sarahjane.baker.1000 is being cruelly persecuted by the state.

The home sec Cruella Braverman interfered in the police decision it was free speech? Mad.

She will likely be recalled to a male prison.

No matter the outcome of court today she is going back to prison.

Come and show her all the love and support she needs as she faces this.

It's not the first time they have supported violent men

Yes, I saw that, particularly with someone who had a 28-day domestic violence protection order against him and had served time in prison for gun offences.

They support men who are violent against women.

YetAnotherSpartacus · 14/07/2023 13:03

So statements like "biology is real' are hate speech and "punch a woman in the face" is free speech.

Right.

OiCatThatsMySeat · 14/07/2023 11:55

Just as an aside and re their gender inclusion policy - wasn't "agender" invented as a pisstake term by a MNer? Who was going to put herself forward for some kind of EDI award at work? That's the only time I've heard that term before!

Wasn’t it “Genderfree”? Lots of women identified as that for a while. There was a checkered flag and everything!

OiCatThatsMySeat · 14/07/2023 13:06

Oh, genderfree! That was it, I stand corrected!

BorgQueen · 14/07/2023 13:53

How did the Police know he was with Fred Wallace at the time of his arrest? Does he have to inform his probation officer of his whereabouts at all times?

literalviolence · 14/07/2023 14:20

I hope he does go back to prison (male obviously) for the rest of his life. You know all those hard of thinking people who try and shut GC people up by wafting accusations of 'this is who you align with'? Well, anyone supporting trans rights aligns with a violent thug who is threatening to assault women. What do they say to that?

YetAnotherSpartacus · 14/07/2023 14:28

Exactly!

Right.

Isn’t that it in a nutshell. What a world.

ArabeIIaScott · 14/07/2023 11:08

'this is a disturbing political attack on a transwoman by simply speaking out loud a hypothetical self defence'

Good lord.

Wow, that is an incredible lie stretch.

Yes - you’ve nailed it.

Oddly, the supportive insta post appears to have vanished.

They're such an embarrassment. Imagine calling yourself a feminist organisation and choosing to campaign for a violent, criminal man who has just been arrested for threatening violence against women. Time to rethink the objectives and ethos of the organisation I reckon!

IwantToRetire · 15/07/2023 00:31

Sisters Uncut have always been a group that opposes the basic principles of Women's Liberation, ie that women are oppresses as a sex class.

They think they are radical left, ie basically hijack women's issues not to support women but to then make ever so right on statements about the oppressive right.

They were one of the male left identified "women's" groups that in direct defiance of both the family of Sarah Everard and the organisers turned up with political signs and loud hailers to what had been a day long peaceful and respectful and silent vigil. And the got what they wanted which was to antagonise the police into (depending on your point of view) either supressing a political protest, or as those actually there experienced, stopping a dangerous surge of people at the vigil into a smaller and smaller area which could have ended really badly.

They got what they want ie publicity not for the death of Sarah Everard and violence against women but a lot of women who somehow thought protesting about the Police Bill was more important

They have a history of hijacking other women's events (ie political parasites) by never organising their own events but gate crashing others. eg there was meant to be a polite protest at the premiere of Suffragette to get publicty for increasing women's participation in politics. So sisters uncut turned up as this polite placarding was starting threw smoke bombs (which are their trademark) and of course brain dead MSM thought golly gosh, all that pink smoke, that will be a good front page picture.

There was a pro abortion march which somehow they thought they should interrupt to ????????? who knows.

I has sort of hoped they had all grown up and left university and no longer felt the need to "perform" their feminism.

Looks like FWR have been aware of their dodgy principles and obstructive behaviour going back to 2015

TheDogthatDug · 15/07/2023 08:03

So what happened at the court, did he get set back to prison?

ArabeIIaScott · 15/07/2023 09:53

I presume so, can't find any confirmation or otherwise, though.

They also are in the habit of setting off hundreds of rape alarms in public places; and I suspect that some of those arrested at the coronation for being in possession of rape alarms 'with inten' - may well have been directly influenced by Sisters Uncut.

Yes I noticed they don't get much responses to their Twitter call outs.

IncomingTraffic · 15/07/2023 10:47

Trying to frame this as political persecution is ridiculous.

add to that the simple fact that they don’t seem to understand that the Home Secretary is the government minister with responsibility for justice and national security.

SerafinasGoose · 15/07/2023 10:52

DuesToTheDirt · 14/07/2023 15:03

Wow, that is an incredible lie stretch.

Alright when it's Caroline Farrow, though.

No matter that she isn't threatening to punch anyone - which can only be accounted for under The Law According To Stonewall where misgendering and wrongthink equate with 'literal violence'.

That's some poetic licence they're in the habit of practising.

AlisonDonut · 15/07/2023 10:52

I know that the UK prison service is completely broken, but would they really release a man who removed his own testicles out on licence?

I have alot of doubt about that part of his story...

That is fucking disgusting. Only a male supremacist could sink this low.

And this is, beyond a doubt, a male supremacist movement.

Elbowsandknees · 15/07/2023 10:55

We want to ensure our meetings are welcoming and empowering for survivors of domestic, sexual and state violence, and for that reason we ask men not to attend

I love this from Sisters Uncut. ‘We ask men not to attend’. This tacit admission that, despite claiming to be a feminist organization, their own ‘ we don’t police gender’ policy means that they cannot tell men not to attend. All they are left with is cravenly asking men if they would be so kind as to not attend. But they can do nothing about it if men do turn up. Brilliant! 😁 Nothing shows more clearly the nonsensical deeply anti-feminist position that is ‘not policing gender’. Because it means women can make no demands of men, but can only make polite requests of them and hope they are nice enough to comply.

Thank you Sisters Uncut for this powerfully clear, real life example of the real world outcomes of ‘not policing gender’.
