I’m gutted, I’m such a huge fan of his. I’ve been hugely looking forward to the second series of Good Omens.

And now this. When challenged on it, apparently he said “I’m OK, TERFs can’t climbs stairs”.

Not sure if anyone else remembers the episode, but wasn't there a Dalek that turned "nice" by merging with humans and his brothers immediately killed him for showing compassion and kindness?
The Manhattan Empire State Building one if that rings any bells, I think it was a Tennant episode funnily enough.

I'm sure there's probably some kind of connection to be made with the way activists turn on LGB or de-trans people who question the narrative.

I mis-remembered the episode a bit, the human Dalek actually sacrifices himself to save the doctor, but they still fully turn on their own leader- they have him in literal chains around his neck ffs!

OK, maybe we don't know his exact views on surgery just from a slogan.

But he wants to throw insults over either (1) objecting to experimental drugs and maybe surgery on children, (2) wanting to protect female sports and protect girls' privacy in changing rooms and toilets.

I wonder who I got him mixed up with. I definitely remember someone media about the same time who paired up with a much younger woman but did leave his wife, she was kind of backgrounded but had made the odd "it's a bit shit" type comment. The only one I can think of offhand is Dick Strawbridge but that's an unlikely mixup with DT even for me!

I don't know. I remember someone, can't remember who but one of the female actors saying that when DT started it changed things for the better. That he led some changing of attitudes and fostered a different culture that made it more comfortable for all the women so I think he quietly challenged Barrowman and the other guy, Noel whatsisname. I remember thinking when I read that how much I'd always liked him and that only made him all the better.

Which only makes his attitude now all the more disappointing.

The thing is, the message itself if read in isolation is really much more likely to be something some-one opposed to gender ideology would say (without the 'freaks'). I.e. don't sterilise kids.

Maybe DT is secretly GC!

However if he has a non-binary child wearing a slogan for either side of the debate is problematic for that child.

Like HermioneWeasley, who posted this yesterday, It never fails to boggle me that people can think drugs which sterilise children and removing of healthy body parts is a GOOD idea and the people against it are the baddies. Especially now with the mountains of evidence against the Tavistock.

Thank you nellodee for your hopeful and thoughtful post. I am so happy to know that you are there for kids in your school who, especially for the girls, need a good relationship with a kind teacher who is female and gender nonconforming.
And of course the girls who are distressed about multiple other things and who are being told by a misogynist social media culture that the fix to magically make everything better is actually ‘their gender identity’. Leading to a whole series of misogynistic displacement activities which in reality prevent them getting the help and emotional support that they actually need and are highly likely to make things worse for them. It’s so hopeful to know that there are TERFy teachers like you supporting all our kids. Thank you.

I can imagine that for some vulnerable young Dr Who fans something like this obnoxious T-shirt slogan from David Tennant who is so closely associated with the series could be really influential to them and not in a good way for their ultimate best interests.

As I posted before, the cost of the end point of DT’s luxury beliefs, will never ever be borne by DT. These vacuous virtue signaling celebs are just giggling ‘let them eat cake’ at the rioters who can’t afford bread. It’s a shocking moral vacuum coming from anyone with an influential platform to promote the idea that there are ‘trans kids’. Nobody is born in the wrong body. I don’t understand how it’s acceptable for Tennant to promote this given his position and his likely audience.
