Breastfeeding

So my thread about the ‘transwoman’ breastfeeding has been deleted.

Apparently Mumsnet doesn’t allow discussion about this. Big surprise. I now expect my account to be deleted.

What a shitshow!

Can't see any Twatter links. Can someone surmise for those of us unable to see?

Someone’s found a delightful set of (thankfully clothed) public selfies of this person trying on nipple clamps in a “queer feminist” sex shop, and describing how they need to withstand very hard tugs.

Just off to bleach my brain now 🤢

zibzibara · 04/07/2023 00:12

Awful. These men just won't stop pushing boundaries will they? Yet another man who calls himself a woman flaunting his 'breastfeeding', it feels like there's some high-profile example of this every few weeks now. And NHS trusts and other healthcare authorities going along with it.

Rocket1982 · 04/07/2023 00:28

The woman in the photos with nipple clamps is a totally different person. Those posts should definitely be deleted for libel.

Nice try.

Rocket1982 · 04/07/2023 00:30

You can believe any s**t you see on twitter if you want, but you're just spreading slander.

Rocket1982 · 04/07/2023 00:31

It's so obviously fake.

myveryownelectrickitten · 04/07/2023 00:32

It always turns out to be about men’s sexual kinks in the end, doesn’t it.

I think one of the reasons young and naive women are so into defending this ideology is that they really do want to think that middle-aged men suffer from terrible “dysphoria”, just like adolescent girls. They either don’t know, or don’t want to know, just what many men are actually like, in terms of their sexual fantasies and fetishes. They don’t want to think that a large part of all this ideology is not at all to do with “identity”, but actually to do with sexual and erotic thrills.

It’s an incredibly naive, “not my Nigel!” view of the world — and they have to defend it, because otherwise they might have to acknowledge that many men have sexual paraphilias and behaviours that are pretty unpleasant, and that women and children are hugely vulnerable to being exploited in the service of these.

It’s from their Instagram, on which there’s video as well as these and other photos. Sorry, but nice try there!

Rocket1982 · 04/07/2023 00:57

Don't believe it. Link?

Ereshkigalangcleg · 04/07/2023 02:01

Well I guess you'll just have to disbelieve it.

Don't believe it. Link?

It's definitely real. The Insta account is still publicly viewable though people are starting to comment on the post in question, so I'd imagine it'll be made private fairly soon. There are various other corroborating selfies and a video.

Nobody's going to link here as it'll just be used to shut the thread down.

Apollo441 · 04/07/2023 03:09

I think the twitter thread has gone. Anyone screen shot it or the Instagram account?

SmugglersHaunt · 04/07/2023 03:23

There are pictures on the persons Instagram page where the person (I’m not insane, just trying to write this carefully) is trying on nipple clamps in a sex shop. The description underneath details how/why they like it.

This.👆
Some women need to grow up and stop being so naive.

HarpyValley · 04/07/2023 07:02

This is why, whether you agree with the language they use there or not, we need sites like Kiwi Farms. You just know that there’ll be a wholesale attempt to memory hole this now…but it happened, we know it happened, we all saw the proof it happened, and it needs to be archived somewhere before the gaslighting that we imagined the whole thing and it wasn’t that bad anyway really cranks up a notch.

RavingStone · 04/07/2023 07:08

PriOn1 · 03/07/2023 21:16

It might be because it’s direct criticism of one specific individual, rather than a general discussion about how sick it is to give babies untested “milk” stimulated by drugs that almost certainly are passed on to the baby if it feeds, as well as it probably being unsafely loaded with testosterone.

I think you're right.

But we do seem to be allowed to discuss individuals who have committed a crime, I think? Or perhaps not, pre conviction.

This is so clearly child abuse, why wouldn't a site aimed at mothers and women discuss it? And what about the actual mother? Is she breastfeeding? Was she allowed to?

pickledandpuzzled · 04/07/2023 08:12

I remember a case many years ago where a grandmother was charged with child abuse for staging photos with her baby grandchild, recreating birth and breastfeeding.
There were fruit pastilles involved if I remember correctly. She was adamant it was just a funny prank. The authorities felt it was abusive.

Such a difference.

pickledandpuzzled · 04/07/2023 08:14

BF can be so feckin' hard and sacrificial, to see a bloke claim it as his experience is infuriating.

It's a genuine perversion- old fashioned meaning of the word.
It's the equivalent of photoshopping yourself on top of Everest and shouting, 'look, I did it!'.

JeannieDark · 04/07/2023 08:16

Can someone more knowledgable than me help me out with the basics here please. My understanding was that regardless of hormones or any kind of transition that the internal make up of a woman's breast was very different from what is physically there in a man - milk ducts etc. do men have these as well?

Rightsraptor · 04/07/2023 08:31

@ticketstickets - I would like to know where you found the references to widowers bf their baby. I've never heard of that. Far more likely that a local lactating woman would be brought in as a wet nurse, often to the detriment of her own child.

What happened in the past, infrequently, was that sailors bf a baby born on ship but the mother died. This is documented but I can't provide the reference. However, the sailor man concerned would have been ill (hence the milk production) and it was far more about hydration than food for the baby. It would have ended as soon as they hit land and a suitable woman was found. If the baby was still alive, that is.
