Breastfeeding

So my thread about the ‘transwoman’ breastfeeding has been deleted.

Apparently Mumsnet doesn’t allow discussion about this. Big surprise. I now expect my account to be deleted.

What a shitshow!

I expect this thread to be deleted, too.

SmugglersHaunt · 03/07/2023 21:03

Oh definitely! We must protect the men’s feelings

Yes. And I made a thread straight after yours was deleted and mine was immediately zapped. Let's see how quickly this one remains.

TooManyAnimals94 · 03/07/2023 21:05

Could you summarise before it gets deleted please?

GoodWeatherforDucks · 03/07/2023 21:06

Why do you rhink they are deleting them? Nothing but facts are being spoken about this ridiculous self-described ‘mum’.

SmugglersHaunt · 03/07/2023 21:07

We were talking about this ‘transwoman’ breastfeeding a baby. Discuss.

It's sick and grim. A deluded man forces a newborn baby to suck on his nipples because it makes him feel good... And social care aren't involved? Fuck that shit.
Bring on the deletion.

Soubriquet · 03/07/2023 21:08

I wonder why you aren’t allowed to discuss it

PatatiPatatras · 03/07/2023 21:08

Tldr:
Man: look at me! Look at me! I'm breastfeeding!
The entire planet: that is child abuse
His supporters: no you numpties, look at HIM! not the baby - ugh wilful blindness.

Not entirely sure what role mnhq is playing in this drama...

ummWTH · 03/07/2023 21:09

I didn't see your thread but I'm interested to hear why a group grown adults aren't free to discuss certain topics. @MNHQ why would you prevent conversations between grown women? We're not children.

And while we're at it, why should a small group of males be shielded from any sort of scrutiny, even when their behaviour is questionable to the extreme? Why aren't people allowed to come at a discussion from the perspective of child safeguarding as opposed to centring the grown up males feelings?

GoodWeatherforDucks · 03/07/2023 21:09

This image has been seen by millions - so validating! I believe this behaviour to be abusive towards the baby.

Rainbowshit · 03/07/2023 21:10

A man producing Galactorrhea is putting the baby to his nipple for his own benefit. It is of no benefit to the baby. I would say more but it would be deleted if I said exactly what I thought of this.

Because FWR is silently patrolled by TRA monitors who report en masse any post or thread which mentions or implies a TW may not be a stunning and brave oppressed innocent but is in fact in the grip of a particular sexual paraphilia we are not allowed to name. The kind of paraphilia that might lead a random, non-identified transwoman to encourage an infant to suckle on one of his erogenous zones, as a completely abstract example.

ummWTH · 03/07/2023 21:11

Mumsnet need to answer some questions. Without posters they literally have nothing, we create the content. So they owe us an explanation as to why they are preventing us from discussing things like adults.

mrshoho · 03/07/2023 21:12

I would like to call on our government, the NHS and other public health agencies to produce as a matter of urgency, accurate and factual information as to how breastfeeding works. Due to misleading and disingenuous social media posts there is a belief by some that biological men are equipped to breastfeed infants.

Florissante · 03/07/2023 21:13

There are some excellent points on this thread.

BerfyTigot · 03/07/2023 21:14

@SmugglersHaunt well done for starting another thread about this. It all helps.

Aplantismanycolours · 03/07/2023 21:15

I think Dennis Noel Kavanagh's description of the "AutoGynoSmile" on his thread about it is perfectly put.

But even if MRAs report en masse, MN are not obliged to act on that. They are making that decision all by themselves and are 100% to blame for stifling women's discussion. I expect that behaviour from misogynist activists but we deserve better from MN.

GoodWeatherforDucks · 03/07/2023 21:16

I feel that this cannot just be allowed to become yesterday’s news. But it’s too ‘icky’ to feature in The Times or The Telegraph. Maybe the Mail will cover it? I’m amused that the TUC who defended him when he was being ‘harassed and abused for simply being a mum’ (not exact quote but you get the gist) will now be forced to defend this and if they don’t.. eek! transphobia!

PriOn1 · 03/07/2023 21:16

It might be because it’s direct criticism of one specific individual, rather than a general discussion about how sick it is to give babies untested “milk” stimulated by drugs that almost certainly are passed on to the baby if it feeds, as well as it probably being unsafely loaded with testosterone.

GoodWeatherforDucks · 03/07/2023 21:20

Not to mention how it interferes with the breastfeeding done by the actual mother (if she is in the picture).

PriOn1 · 03/07/2023 21:21

Particularly if it was being posted that a specific individual was experiencing sexual excitement from having a baby suckling him. We all know AGPs exist and many are easy to spot, but naming one is presumably considered too risky in case he sues.

TooManyAnimals94 · 03/07/2023 21:24

This is actually sickening. How is this person allowed to post child abuse images on twitter??

Starfishandshrimps · 03/07/2023 21:28

This is truly nauseating- and for the benefit of the baby? I don't think so
