I don’t read OJ but decided this time I would read what he was saying this time because Labour does not come across as anti LGBTQ+ to me. Hence, being curious about how he was going to criticise them. This paragraph caught my attention.
First, are transphobic hate crimes ‘soaring’? If so, that’s terrible. However, what does constitute or is a ‘hate crime’. Does it include both being physically assaulted and a tweet saying men aren’t mothers? Or is it just the latter?
Second, we hear somethings wrt to how the self ID laws are going for women and girls in Ireland, but does anyone know of what’s happening in Norway and Switzerland? We are beginning to hear about increasing concerns from such countries about the transgender medicalisation of young people, but are there concerns about the wider impact on women?
