Emma Vigeland, presenter on The Majority Report, a "progressive" internet talk radio programme and podcast, has made it crystal clear that gender identity trumps fairness when it comes to sport.

Emma has not backed down from her comments and has since mocked "terfs" for being "triggered" by her, declaring that "gender affirming care" for minors would solve all of the problems anyway:

Emma has unequivocally declared that she is right on this issue.

Fascinating to see any pretence that the subject is "complicated" has gone - no, if a person with a penis wants to compete in women's sports, then that takes priority over everything else, including fairness.

As a side note, she used to be a presenter on The Young Turks and made a (very) half-hearted attempt to defend her former colleague Ana Kasparian last month after Ana lost patience with being referred to as a "birthing person". (Interestingly, Ana hasn't retreated from her own comments either.)

Trans men really do get a raw deal don’t they? If all sports bodies create an additional gender-neutral category for trans and non-binary people to enter, it just becomes yet another chance for males to win prizes. I think I’m being really bloody reasonable in the fact I’d support that, if the women’s category was left as female only. At least women would still get their day in the sun.

A third category, while inclusive to trans women, effectively excludes trans men. We’ve all seen the pictures of those grinning males in crop tops celebrating their win in a non-binary category, I forget which sport.

Just popping back here to add this link to the FairPlay for Women video that may be a handy explainer for anyone who needs a place to start understanding women and girls and their unique needs in sport and how males who limit their performance simply cause women and girls to be excluded from the category that they need and that they deserve.

It is truly remarkable to see male individuals who cannot even conceive of understanding that they don't 'deserve' to enter the female category as some sort of consolation prize for choosing to limit their performance. But Emilia certainly would have helped many readers to see the entitlement that male people feel.

Actually, I had also refound this clip of McKinnon telling the world using their Philosophy lecturer knowledge (I guess that would be POMO theories) that these male people should never be treated any differently to 'any other female' because that is what a document that a kindly Canadian government allowed McKinnon to change to reflect a lie that McKinnon is female.

This is why those documents need to stop being changed and no legal fiction should be allowed. And when I first saw this clip a few years ago, that is when it really sunk in that using preferred pronouns leads to this situation. That people like McKinnon then use that politeness in their consultancy positions with the IOC to make changes that harm girls and woman. And that some people then fucking applaud that reasoning.

Adding the latest on the Anglers. The intention is there. However, I am not sure the regulations are usable due to birth certificates being changed.

Either way, another sport finally starts to extricate itself from males insisting they are female. The end result will end up being that male people will have no option except to accept that they will be male people who merely modify their bodies but will never be not male. Ie. Reality.
