The Pulitzer website says the award is for "For book reviews that scrutinize authors as well as their works, using multiple cultural lenses to explore some of society’s most fraught topics." The website then specifies 5 specific book reviews that contributed to winning the prize.

Great for Chu to have won an award for their book reviews. Doesn't mean any of their comments about women are any more valid or relevant as a result!

Given they've also awarded the New York Times the prize for international reporting after they recently published that idiotic and poorly researched piece on Anglophiles celebrating the coronation (see screenshot) I feel the Pulitzer judges have lost all credibility
