I have strongly disagreed with Chu's opinion on lots of trans matters and on feminism, but at least it is a thoughtful, philosophical approach which is open to discussion.
The Pulitzer is for criticism: so what does it matter if one disagrees with her position on other issues? How does that make her award less valid?

Grace Lavery should have gotten a Pulitzer's, too! After all, Lavery defined 'woman' as those who take the submissive role in sex, focus on home rather than the labour market.

Perhaps Lavery wasn't misogynistic enough to get the book a Pulitzer Prize? Better luck next year.

My gosh, what a read. These people are nothings, just cyphers, empty vessels into which to pour their new IDs. Or more accurately plaster casts into which the new IDs are moulded. Or is that donning the new ID like a gimp suit, latex mask or skin, Buffalo Bill-style?

Of course the irony is that the more these characters attempt to shed or hide their "previous" ID, the more they prove their ID of grasping, aggressive, misoginist, self-hating men is reinforced.

NO woman, certainly no sane woman, would even begin to entertain such fantasises.

And so here we have it, men with paraphillias, promoting the most woman hating of all philosophies, are lauded by the establishment.

“Racist fetishism?” 😵 Is this a thing in academic circles? That as long as you express your racism in the most pseudo intellectual way possible, you could even win a prize? That you can, moreover, entitle your work “I am a racist”? Because I say I have a “fetish”, it becomes acceptable?
