Just posting this as on a thread elsewhere I made some disparaging remarks that the debate will be shuffled off to some small committee room.

But they must think that more than a few MPs are wanting to take part as I have just seen it will be in Westminster Hall.

Will be interesting to see which MPs are willing to state views about the reality of biological sex in public!

Event will be broadcast live.

And what was it he said about teaching how to choke safely in schools? I don't think people who repeated what he said were lying.

He said that his 15 year old cousin had died from an (undeniably tragic) auto erotic asphyxiation accident, and he felt this could be avoided if children were taught how to do it safely Confused

Thanks @Ereshkigalangcleg
All that woe is me, mean people on the internet telling lies about me wanting to teach children porn or whatever it was he said. 💩 💩 💩

Boiledbeetle · 12/06/2023 19:10

ArabeIIaScott · 12/06/2023 19:11

Not sure, she's good tho.

IwantToRetire · 12/06/2023 19:11

I'm now so hypermy fingers are shaping. Who is speaking now, mentioning IamSarah?

I couldn't hear her name

SunnyEgg · 12/06/2023 19:11

Another for clarity

Not sure who it was

Catiette · 12/06/2023 19:11

I'm so glad they're getting close to the damage this is doing to trans rights as well - or its potential to do this - re. data collection, lack of understanding & bad faith debate...

Have just followed that person (and quickly liked and unliked their tweet because my workplace is captured).

SabrinaThwaite · 12/06/2023 19:12

I think that was Caroline Ansell, Conservative MP for Eastbourne.

chilling19 · 12/06/2023 19:12

Caroline Ansell, the Conservative MP for Eastbourne?

IwantToRetire · 12/06/2023 19:12

Silly me. Of course it would be a tory.

This is now Anna Firth.

ArabeIIaScott · 12/06/2023 19:13

Anna Firth up now, I think. Conservative

Feministwoman · 12/06/2023 19:13

Neale Hanvey

Love what he said, and love the Suffragette tie!

xabia · 12/06/2023 19:13

KB- thick as pig shit. How can people vote for this woman?

IcakethereforeIam · 12/06/2023 19:13

You don't want that rocket dress. I thought she was wearing pyjamas, seems to be past her bedtime.

SunnyEgg · 12/06/2023 19:13

Anna Firth Conservative for clarity and change

Make it clear that males cannot be in women sports, prisons or changing rooms

Slothtoes · 12/06/2023 19:13

Kirsty Blackman- newsflash, just like your trans constituents, women just want to do their shopping in peace and to be able to go to the loo in peace too. Without blokes in there!

SabrinaThwaite · 12/06/2023 19:13

Firth is good - prisons, health, sport.

Shush now, women aren't special people and how do we even know what anyone is anyway?! We could all be virtually any sex at all!

SabrinaThwaite · 12/06/2023 19:14

Firth - “it’s a simple clarification”.

Catiette · 12/06/2023 19:15

Thank you to the NHS Confederation (or whatever they're called) for their exquisite timing, like Isla Bryson.

IwantToRetire · 12/06/2023 19:15

Anna Firth Conservative for clarity and change - I'm not even a Labour Party member but feel embarrassed for them.

All these Tory women standing up for women's sex based rights.
