Just posting this as on a thread elsewhere I made some disparaging remarks that the debate will be shuffled off to some small committee room.

But they must think that more than a few MPs are wanting to take part as I have just seen it will be in Westminster Hall.

Will be interesting to see which MPs are willing to state views about the reality of biological sex in public!

Event will be broadcast live.

practically a requirement

Friend - you can indeed

DialSquare · 12/06/2023 17:42

What about the exclusion of the many women from their own single sex spaces if males can use them? I wish one of these fuckers would answer that question.

SunnyEgg · 12/06/2023 17:42

ArabeIIaScott · 12/06/2023 17:41

practically a requirement

Particularly when people like Angela Eagle dismiss women like that

FriendofJoanne · 12/06/2023 17:42

I think I'm a bit behind as still AE speaking (my internet went down for a minute) Fuckitty fuckitty bollocks from AE

ArabeIIaScott · 12/06/2023 17:42

'Maya' now trending on Twitter.

I love the "there are 7,000 people with a gender recognition certificate" and they will feel sad and awkward if they don't get what they want.

A quick Google says 33 million+ women in the UK, but we have to make sure those 7k don't feel sad and awkward, whether we or our children suffer PTSD, trauma etc. as a result of male violence or not.

ArabeIIaScott · 12/06/2023 17:44

Yep.

Ramblingnamechanger · 12/06/2023 17:44

WHere the hell has Angela Eagle been all this time? I feel utterly betrayed by someone who is apparently proud of being lesbian. She really has ignored the last few years problems and ultimately all lesbians and women. Toeing the party line.

ArabeIIaScott · 12/06/2023 17:44

Jess Philps. Wil be interesting.

chilling19 · 12/06/2023 17:44

I hope Rosie stands up

SabrinaThwaite · 12/06/2023 17:44

Angela Richardson being clear on providing third / gender neutral facilities. Conservative MP for Guildford.

chilling19 · 12/06/2023 17:44

Ooh Jess Philips

ArabeIIaScott · 12/06/2023 17:45

Come on Jess. For fucking once.

FriendofJoanne · 12/06/2023 17:45

It may be my bias but the speakers for clarifying the act seem to be so much clearer whereas AE was all about the emotional blackmail and spouting bullshit about homophobia with no evidence

Boiledbeetle · 12/06/2023 17:45

you know I still find it difficult to reconcile the fact that as a labour person I am finding myself agreeing with way too many of the conservative party, but the labour party are just so fucking wet!

ArabeIIaScott · 12/06/2023 17:45

Okay. Biology. Good.

It's not your bias.

It's symptomatic of the muddled thinking that much genderism is based on.

ACatCalledPushka · 12/06/2023 17:45

OMG - Jess!

sourdoughismyreligion · 12/06/2023 17:46

Is Jess climbing off the fence?
