Caroline has just posted on twitter that the police were trying to force entry - WTF going on?

Three officers saying she has to go with them.

Three.

I think this ‘interview’ with Felix is voluntary. More voluntary than voluntary police interviews. It’s boring. Traffic Warden vibes.

CF’s twitter feed says that the police wanted to speak to her about 4 new complaints about her Twitter post her first arrest and that if she did not attend, she would be arrested.

What is the possibility of CF suddenly doing something like shoplifting or drink-driving or leaving the scene of an accident?

If you refuse to attend a police interview when you are suspected of a crime, the police will come and arrest you and that is what happened to CF.

What we don’t know is why the police felt this was a matter of urgency and the answer must be that the ‘victim’ would have been driving it and must have presented themselves as being under threat, unless the police were watching her twitter and felt she represented a risk.

I do not believe that CF presents a risk to anything other than certain people’s reputations.

Mycatwantsmedead

Now we are getting somewhere - so was she arrested for harassment, mal comms etc

I don't know what the possibility is of her drink driving, shoplifting - I've never met her. Some people do, some people don't. For example Katie Price was a victim of a whole host of horrible abuse on Twitter & social media aimed at both herself & her son - yet she was found drink driving.

If you don't attend for a vol interview - there still needs to be a necessity for that arrest to take place. The other way of doing it is to just summons her to court with a refused interview

Precisely - so we need to know what the reporting person has said to gauge the level of response. We need to know what the crime is? Is it threats, harassment, mal comms. If it is mal comms what was it? etc etc

We need to know this before we can judge if the police response was necessary

We perhaps have Caroline's version of events - but we need to hear the other side of the complaint

Mycatwantsmedead · 30/04/2023 19:29

One would assume that if the other side gives their side, they will undermine their case if harassment is what is at stake.

Felix125 · 30/04/2023 19:37

The other side will have to demonstrate that they have been harassed and provide some sort of evidence to show they have been harassed

They wouldn't be undermining their own case - but providing evidence to support it

Brefugee · 30/04/2023 19:50

this person has reported her on multiple occasions. I wonder when the sussex plods will connect the dots.
I'm not holding my breath.

Felix125 · 30/04/2023 19:59

Brefugee

Yes - don't bother investigating this current incident properly - just report him for wasting police time.

We assume its the same person making the report and we still have no idea what this current allegation is - but just summons him for wasting police time anyway.

join the dots - anyone making an allegation against Caroline (even though we have no idea what it might be) must be part of the harassment against her.

Did we learn nothing from Shana?

Datun · 30/04/2023 20:24

If its a case the police have smashed her door through to arrest her because she politely disagreed with someone on Twitter - then the police are clearly wrong.

Politely.

Felix125 · 30/04/2023 20:32

Yes politely - in a respectful and considerate manner.

So if Caroline has been respectful and considerate in what ever she put on Twitter and that has sparked this allegation - if indeed that is the basis of this allegation as we still don't know - then the police are clearly wrong

But we don't know what this allegation is here. We don't know what the reporting person has said this time. We don't even know if its related to all the other stuff or a completely separate incident. We don't know if its the same person reporting or someone totally new. We don't know what has been alleged.

We don't know - we just don't know

The only people who will know will be: Caroline, the reporting person, the OIC and any direct witnesses.

So we can't really judge can we.

Baldieheid · 30/04/2023 20:41

Just for clarification.

If CF had disagreed with someone politely on twitter, the police would have been wrong to break her door down.

Yes?

So if CF had disagreed with someone impolitely on twitter, the police would have been....what? CORRECT to break her door down?

Is impoliteness or even, gawd forbid, rudeness, now a criminal offence?

Is that what Felux is saying?

Baldieheid · 30/04/2023 20:42

Felix, not Felux.

Hi All,

As some know, I'm a real life friend of Caroline and have the unfortunate experience of knowing the case details (she's allowed to talk to individuals). Obviously, I'm not going to repeat because it'll lead to accusations of trying to influence said case and being her mouthpiece. In very general terms, I'm only prepared to say that I consider her a victim of some pretty extreme harassment over the years (e.g. Dr Harrop was suspended from practicing for it) and, understandably, she posted some unwise things under immense pressure. It's easy to judge that if you haven't seen the sorts of stuff we deal with, and yes, I've said to her "you tweeted some mad things", but she's not a robot. When the police seemingly do little, when you are subject to grotesque invasions of your personal life, when you are drowning in litigation, then yes, Twitter can be an outlet.

I expect she'll update when she's allowed but I wanted to check in and say THANK YOU for all the lovely comments. I'm being as supportive as I can but my preference is to keep most everything off Twitter. We're just in that frustrating period of shutting up for the greater good.

Our WhatsApp, however, often involves wine and a fair bit of colourful language.

Cheers All,

Louise

Cherrywoo · 30/04/2023 20:55

No, this is not remotely comparable, and you are being unbelievably obtuse.
Police routinely play down abuse/assault aimed at women, to the point where many women won’t report these crimes, and where women have very little confidence left in police - that hasn’t happened in a vacuum, that hasn’t happened because pesky women don’t know what they’re on about, it’s because women have been routinely let down by police.

If you’re not going to read CF’s very open history that is available, then you have no right coming onto this thread and patronising women who know her history, and know how her vexatious litigator and other trolls have been putting her through hell for years.

You do know that women are allowed to be rude, er, these days, don't you? We can go round saying cunt, fuck, arse, wanker, bellend, prick.

We can even say it to <inhales sharply> men.

And do.

Frequently.

If you were capable of listening, you might hear us.

Thanks for the update! We can see what's going on! Well.....most of us!!

Having spent 2 then another 10 years in a legal fights of my own I know how much these things take out of you. And how much stress you end being under feeling powerless to do anything but wait for it to run its course whilst feeling like you are going insane in the process!

There's probably a lot me and Caroline would not agree on, but I really do feel for her going through all this shit.

Give her a big hug from me.

EveryWitchWaybutLoose · 01/05/2023 00:45

Thanks @DrLouiseJMoody you are such a staunch friend to Ms Farrow. I have a very tiny insight into the psychological stress of facing targeted transactivism (they demanded of my employer that I be made to change my views and stop teaching).

And I’m still agog at the total trouble standards of Twitter and the police. As you say, under the sustained pressure of harassment Ms Farrow has experienced over many years, no wonder she might be a bit sharp on occasion.

But she’s not the one crowing over the death of a woman, or talking about punching or slashing women, or wanting us to die in grease fires.

Of course you can - but you probably couldn't really use such words by repeatedly shouting them through someone's letter box in the middle of the night.

And I'm not saying Caroline has done this by the way

What I am saying is - we need to know what the allegation is on this occasion before we can judge the police's response to it.

But at present - we just don't know what the current allegation is

But can you say with 100% certainty that this current allegation is 100% connected with this history?

Or is it something completely separate?

Can you say 100% that the reporting person this time is the same person as before?

I'll gladly read her history - but we can't say if this new complaint is definitely linked to it yet?

Nah. A mythical person you made up, repeatedly shouting cunt through a letter box in the small hours, isn't a woman being rude to wankers on Twitter. However much you think it should be.
