I agree with this entirely.
I find Elon Musk to be a fascinating, intriguing human - a rich man who isn't afraid to do things differently. And having someone with that degree of power advocating for science and fact isn't a bad thing.
I don't agree with him on everything, but that's OK. I don't think he's a total arse, nor completely bad.
I do think the fact that he's autistic means that he sometimes communicates in a way that other people find awkward or uncomfortable. Or holds views that don't jibe well with popular consensus. I think sometimes this is what contributes to people's dislike of him.
(For transparency, I'm also autistic)
Donald Trump - I find it very difficult to find anything positive to say about the man. That's not the case with Elon - I disagree with him vehemently on some points but agree entirely on others. I don't think he's inherently a "bad" person unlike the aforementioned ex-President.
