Anyone with a working brain knows that the majority of violent porn is watched by men.

Men watch porn on the train, at work, while they are at home with their kids, everywhere. Women are not the majority customers of porn.

Broadmoor has traditionally not only coped with treating mentally ill criminals but containing the 'dangerously criminally insane' in old money. You're left wondering if mainstream prisons are expected to contain those as violent and dangerous as this individual, wtaf are the ones in Broadmoor and its Irish/Scots equivalents like? And I can see why so many prison officers rapidly burn out and leave with such a high rate of MH and physical harm related injuries.

Ireland has a very bad reputation in relation to Mental Health institutions. I've read over time that a lot of people in Irish prisons are mentally disturbed but not mentally ill. The women in Limerick would be very very marginalised. In for petty stuff like repeat shop lifting to feed drug habits. They would be mostly very poor women who have abuse relationships with men. They don't have a voice.

Bet anything the female staff in Limerick are sick of dealing with Barbie K, and they used Leo's remarks to get him moved out. With the help of the Irish prison service. They are rewriting the rules now so hopefully they will house male offenders according to sex. This is all thanks to pink penis leggings rapist in Scotland.

it must cost an absolute fortune to have two guards permanently accompanying that fox in the hen house.

even politicians who don’t give a rats arse about women should care about the drain on public funds.

The use of prisons to make this particular political point is an interesting use of public money. Putting B K and other dangerous XY prisoners into a women's prison, and locking up Enoch Burke, who is a total pita but not a danger to anyone seem odd decisions.

EmotionalSupportHyena · 27/04/2023 09:57

That’s a really good point.

Burke could surely be fined for his stupid actions, put some money back in the system rather than spend it on incarcerated a non violent twit.
