Apparently the party is having problems finding new auditors. Stephen Flynn, Westminster SNP leader, is quoted as saying "I thought it would be a relatively straight forward [sic] process to secure new auditors but that's proven not to be the case" and that this was partly due to the fact that the financial year was nearing its end as well as the overall challenges in the party's finances.
Well, that's one way of putting it. Accountancy firms not willing to touch this stinker with a very, very long pole and there not being a fee big enough in the world?
Wonder what odds I'd get from the betting shop round the corner on the accounts being filed by month end.
