Shocking scenes in Auckland, TRA pours liquid on KJK

1000 replies

JacquelinePot · 25/03/2023 09:59

I'm not even sure what to say about this, I just find it really shocking.

Baying mobs surrounded the intended event, one got onto the podium and poured red liquid all over KJK and KJK had to be removed amidst a huge crush.

I hope everyone is OK.

Isn’t gender non conformity in young children a strong indicator that a person will grow up to be gay?

Jazz has a thread on the farms, very illuminating. Long read by now though.
From memory, jazz at two said they want a vagina and or to be a girl.
Jazz has a book and pretty much every page has something glaring out, I want to say child abuse, because that's what it looks like to me, but some people just say its naivety from the writer (jazz's mum possibly)
Jazz was pictured in ari (the sister) princess shoes, and that apparently was a start to the trans journey.
Frankly I've this weekend been to a family party where the youngest child had a fascination for all the shoes piled in the hallway, tried them all on, mostly boots given the weather, all far too big, does this mean the child wants to be a clown? No it means a child like almost every child before them, likes trying on shoes, is learning that we all grow, likes the feel of warm shoes, etc ad infinitum.

Jazz is also not grown up as missed puberty completely. In fact if you watch the jazz shows from the beginning with a critical eye you can see that jazz is not happy, but has no idea how to turn the supertanker around. Between growing up with this as the only narrative and an overbearing mother, insipid father and siblings who love to pick on jazz, there wasnt much choice. Children are rarely listened to anyway.

There are some very telling parts. One where the mother says "if jazz doesnt dilate properly, I'll damn well do it myself" you can almost see that she realises she made a massive no no almost immediately she says the words.
Another where the mother says "I'll wax your legs jazz, dont you trust me" jazz very definitely says " NO" and it obvious that jazz means it.
So much more, go read the thread on the farms then tell me jazz or was gender nonconformist

Please pass on our love and support and everything that Beetle said. You have nothing to be ashamed of, you brave and wonderful women. Your sisters everywhere will keep fighting. Stay strong.

Yes please do. Anything we can do. Xx

Boiledbeetle · 27/03/2023 11:10

Please pass this on

You wonderful wonderful strong brave magnificent kickass women. Every single one of you.

Don't waste your energy or emotions on feeling guilt, shame, or embarrassment because it is not yours to feel. You can rightly feel immensely proud of what you tried to do, of what you helped show the world this weekend.

You are all brave magnificent women who just wanted to stand up to talk, to be heard, and were still prepared to do that until the demented mob decided to terrorise you, break down barriers, and assault innocent women..

You did nothing wrong.

I am in awe of you.

Boiledbeetle x

Seconded.

Your fight will not go unnoticed and your government, police and media should be held accountable for their collusion with terrorists. They've been seen. There's no hiding now.

Slothtoes · 27/03/2023 11:26

I’d like to third everything that BoiledBeetle just said.
Thank you do much to those women and wishing them well. I’m sorry they had such an awful experience, it’s completely fucked up and unacceptable. Let women speak!
Thanks for your posts Whaenui

CryptoFascistMadameCholet · 27/03/2023 11:40

Me too! I think you are all truly stunning and brave and have nothing to feel guilty for 💐💐💐💐💐

When the dust settles, we’ll know for sure, but it seems to me that KJK made her point and won without saying a single word.

Perhaps the NZ women who were prevented from speaking by the cancellation of the two events could publish their intended speeches online?
Record them to camera if that suits or just publish the text? Their words deserve to be witnessed.

MassiveWordSalad · 27/03/2023 11:45

I stand with the adult human females of NZ too. No shame Flowers

‘I completely support everybody’s right to protest, especially women’s rights to protest. I think the way that women’s rights have been threatened by the trans movement is deeply concerning to me, I’m very concerned about the law that was proposed obviously in Scotland, that the government took action over.

I think what happened in New Zealand was just terrible, that lady had every right to express her views in defence of women’s rights, it was a completely legitimate thing to do and the way that she was essentially abused by a baying mob was completely unacceptable’

So glad the home office has spoken, but we need to tell them to discuss it with NZ PM

I wanted to tell you all that the group of Maori women that invited her felt very scared and embarrassed and full of guilt for inviting her when it turned out to be so dangerous but have been so comforted from the uk women here and online for all your support. They’ve had to rescue a member who was doxxed and search for the lady who got punched, someone had their foot broken too… but all your support is helping. They are distraught at being referred to as far right. Please keep the support coming and remember: Maori women invited her, they are committed rights activists and are NOT NAZIS.

They're not the people that should be embarrassed, and they've no reason to feel guilty. It should be the mob of men who enjoy beating on women and the police who facilitated violence against women feeling thoroughly ashamed of themselves.

Give us a shout if there's anything we can do to help your friends, Whaeanui.

this is such a good idea. By watching it I’d feel I was doing something to acknowledge the brave woman in New Zealand who invited KJK (just to make it all about me, but hopefully you know what I mean!)

Plus, it’ll show how normal and non-nazi(!) the women’s concerns/opinions are.

We just want female spaces, services, sports and language to be reserved for female people.

Yep! She proved once and for all that women are being made to shut up. We are not being allowed the courtesy of even to open our mouths. Our thoughts are deemed wrong without them even heading a word of what those thoughts are.

Total control of women is not a good look in a supposedly enlightened society.

beastlyslumber · 27/03/2023 11:15

That interview made me cry. Hearing the emotion in KJK'S voice when she described being attacked. And how fucking brave and resolute she is.

JHB was fab and really supportive, too. She said the foreign secretary had responded - anyone know more about that?

It all just makes me so furious. All we are asking for is space. To be safe from violent males. The utterly deranged response from TRAs has exposed them to the world.

I like the interviewer she was right to finish with high praise

Isn’t gender non conformity in young children a strong indicator that a person will grow up to be gay?

I'm not sure it is. It might be a stereotype of 'one day to be gay' children, though.

NotBadConsidering · 27/03/2023 12:32

The most important thing to note about gender non-conformity in children is that there isn’t a definitive answer as to what it means so while there’s an interesting academic discussion to be had, the last thing anyone should be doing is medicalising it.

Baldieheid · 27/03/2023 12:34

I've seen photos of Jazz as a wee one, in a pink tutu. Adorable, irrelevant what sex the child is, he's just having fun dressing up. Why does that mean he needs his gonads removed? It's hard to understand the segue from dressing up child to desexed adult.

Boiledbeetle · 27/03/2023 12:42

Grammarnut · 27/03/2023 12:27

It's an indicator, but not a good enough indicator though. You can't use it as 100% this is what they are going to be when they grow up. Because it's just based on stereotypes.

I was the kid who did all the boy stuff who hated pink and dolls and went into construction for a living and am heterosexual.

My sister loved pink and dolls and she's married to a woman.

YouJustDoYou · 27/03/2023 12:53

Those protesters are so kind and tolerant, aren't they?

Any word from the Labour front bench, do we know?

Also @Whaeanui I'd like to echo what others have said. The violence was not your fault in any way.
