Shocking scenes in Auckland, TRA pours liquid on KJK

I'm not even sure what to say about this, I just find it really shocking.

Baying mobs surrounded the intended event, one got onto the podium and poured red liquid all over KJK and KJK had to be removed amidst a huge crush.

I hope everyone is OK.

There are many, many types of DSD including lots with no mismatch between phenotype and karyotype.

It’s bonkers to shove them all under a single ‘intersex’ heading.

DSD Families is an excellent resource for anyone who wants to learn more: https://dsdfamilies.org/parents/what-dsd/brief-overview

(you can have a mismatched karyotype and phenotype without having a DSD too - my daughter has ‘acquired chimerism’ because her bone marrow transplant came from a male donor - having XY DNA in her blood stream makes her no more male than it makes her German, or 30 something, two more categories that her donor ticked).

As opposed to this -

They made a mistake choosing tomato soup, didn't they? It looks like blood, which has the effect of making Posie look particularly defiant and courageous, rather than someone covered in soup.

So am I reading it right that this chart shows what puberty doesn’t do for some with PAIS? Because PAIS is anything between 2 and 5 per this chart and if Eliana went through puberty looking like figures 4 & 5, I can understand that they may not obviously be male looking or feeling.

Bit rude to speculate on an individual’s genitals!

Clearly this person was male enough in appearance to be registered as a boy at birth (hence having a male passport) and male enough to self describe as ‘a man’ pre starting cross sex hormones (as seen in the CNN article).

The CNN article describes the initial passport problem as a discrepancy between a newly feminised appearance (due to cross sex hormones) no longer matching the old passport, so presumably the original picture depicted an obvious male?

Otherwise the Taiwan/Hong Kong problem wouldn’t have occurred.

Adults can transition for whatever reasons they choose and clearly this person has had a rather shitty time of it in the past. I expect it’s rather difficult being a gay GNC male in both Columbia and Taiwan, especially 20Plus years ago.

But there are no excuses for males committing VAWG.

(a PAIS diagnosis could well explain why you initially believed the assault perpetrator to be female but we don’t know the degree of PAIS and it’s wrong to speculate on a person’s medical history)

Clymene · 26/03/2023 15:46

This is the feminism board. No one is assigned a sex at birth - sex is observed, based on external genitalia.

Apparently there was another demonstration in Auckland on the same day as the KJK one which also clashed with TRAs. I don't know who these guys are or what their politics are but it looks as if it was a march against the sexualisation / indoctrination of children in Schools. But there doesn't appear to have been the same level of aggression, abuse, and name calling against the these marchers. Can't think why!

They supported banners with slogans such as

"stop the sexualisation of our children in schools"
"keep your hands of our kids"
"keep politics out of the playground"
"my kids no secrets"

All of this would be branded as Nazi / fascistic / transphobic / white supremacist if women were saying it.

No defenceless 70 year old women for them to pummel at that one, Signal.

picklemewalnuts · 26/03/2023 16:48

They really need to sort out their optics. It's really unfortunate that they keep inadvertently targeting frailer women.

Come on guys, if only for the sake of better optics, pick on some burly blokes too!

Who suggested that Standing for Women was a charity? I can imagine how excitable certain lawyers and organisations would be if she went for charity status Grin

Ha, I could easily see mermaids taking that to a tribunal.

But yeah, not new information that sfw is a company.
How very dare a woman own a company and gasp, make money.
Sheeeeite what is the world coming to. Damn women poking their heads above the parapet, employing others, paying others and taxes and wow paying off the mortgage.

Christ alive I just paid my mortgage off too, how very awful of me. Despicable.

‘Cosied up’?

What a wankerish thing to say!

RealityFan · 26/03/2023 17:14

Oh, Lachlan is still labouring under the misapprehension that Starmer's recent exclamations that he's "solved" the tension btwn women's tights and trans radical demands should be taken at face value, and the laydeez should all shut up now.
Posie is achieving more politically on one mission than Lachlan will ever do in his entire life.

A gay chap summing the situation up perfectly

Powerful. And men starting to get angry is a huge step, because we all know, penis people get listened to. And he is right: he is speaking for himself and other gay men; not women, this movement threatens homosexuality as much as women's rights.

One point he made that was stark: the gender ideologists tell gay men they are women in denial - in basic terms, join us. They tell gay women, shut up and get your knickers off, you have a job to do and no one gives a fuck if you want to or will enjoy it.

The misogyny is appalling and it has become so normalised.

I agree wholly that the time has come for homosexuals to start turning up as women do. And to be under the rainbow flag and making it very clear to the police and general public, we are the rainbow too. You're not protecting our rights, you are supporting the legal subordination of women to men in law, and the ending of homosexuality as an acceptable thing in the UK. You are supporting violence and exclusion to those not in the powerful gang. For fucks sake wake up and smell the fucking coffee.

nilsmousehammer · 26/03/2023 17:35

To add: I will be doing that personally through the LGBA. But I will be glad to join any other group of homosexual people against this violent, misoginist thuggery.

RealityFan · 26/03/2023 17:40

Dennis Noel Kavanagh, Malcolm Clark and Simon Edge are the guys to follow on Twitter re the gay men's fightback to this. Lachlan Stuart is badly losing the plot, can forget him.
As a heterosexual male who's as GC as they come, I can't think of many role models prepared to put their neck on the block.

RealityFan · 26/03/2023 17:43

Graham Linehan as well on my "team" lol.

James Dreyfus is another.

His cute wee dog is another reason to follow him on Twitter.

And Gareth Roberts

RealityFan · 26/03/2023 17:55

He is indeed. But the lack of heterosexual male voices is minimal, and disturbing. Of course we know why, the narrative is drawn so tight, that only a women have the balls to be brave and speak up. And even those men you might think would be skeptical at the very least and minded to express some opinions, are either disinterested, selfish in thinking it doesn't affect them, or lacking in the cojones department.
I mean, do women really have to do everything? Even fighting a regressive movement?
It appears so.

RealityFan · 26/03/2023 17:58

Can someone clone Christopher Hitchens and get him arguing in public, pronto.
Men are MIA on this, they're looking at JKR and now KJK and saying to themselves "bugger this, I'm keeping my gob shut" despite having ANY number of opinions of any number of topics.

Baldieheid · 26/03/2023 18:00

There are gay men speaking out on Twitter for sure, some of them really quite young. They've definitely spoken up a lot more since the GRR shite in Scotland - the ones I've seen have been young Scottish and pissed off to see how close they came to losing their ability to call themselves homosexual and choose their own partners.

I've had to come off Twitter for a while as it was really messing with my head, and I don't interact, I just read, so some of this info might be out of date.

There's also some very outspoken trans people. One I appreciate is called something like Dr Maria De Souza (might be wrong with the name, sorry). He is openly trans, very happy to state that he's a male, despite surgery, doesn't care about pronouns, is openly against the TRA stuff and openly outspoken against everyone from handmaidens (boy have I seen some get their arses handed to them by him), and TW who are simply beastly about women - Maria speaks up. I think he is a geologist, certainly a lot of travelling round volcanoes etc. Edinburgh Uni links I believe. Interesting person and gives absolutely no space to "delicate trans must be protected against the mean wimz" crap, at least nothing I've seen. He spent last Autumn travelling round South America alone, going on long treks to volcanoes and mountains and basically enjoying a freedom that many real women (depending on experiences they've had) could only dream of.

Waitwhat23 · 26/03/2023 18:04

Dr María Inés de la Cruz

And yes, has been outstanding at handing the arse to people who do the inevitable 'do you even know a transperson?!' tedium.

Baldieheid · 26/03/2023 18:04

Bugger, got the name wrong completely. Sorry!
