Shocking scenes in Auckland, TRA pours liquid on KJK

JacquelinePot · 25/03/2023 09:59

I'm not even sure what to say about this, I just find it really shocking.

Baying mobs surrounded the intended event, one got onto the podium and poured red liquid all over KJK and KJK had to be removed amidst a huge crush.

I hope everyone is OK.

Dr María Inés de la Cruz

And yes, has been outstanding at handing the arse to people who do the inevitable 'do you even know a transperson?!' tedium.

Thanks. I actually logged back in just to check. He's a force to be reckoned with.

CryptoFascistMadameCholet · 26/03/2023 18:05

I dunno - there are a lot of heterosexual men doing their bit against this madness but they tend to ‘stay in their lane’ and do it in their specific work field

Eg Ross Tucker & Jon Pike in the sports science and sports journalism arenas.
Ricky Gervais and Dave Chapelle in comedy.
and there are lots of male commentators in the YouTuber/podcast arena.

Plus special mentions to Glinner (comedy writer) and Colin Wright (biologist) who both found themselves in the gender war full time when their day jobs became untenable due to the New Rules).

And Andy of the Skeptics (I forget his surname, will probably remember within the next 5 mins).

Plus Billboard Chris.

Bloody hell, he's completely lost the plot.

How does he explain the bomb threats the same people make at WPUK events? How they get their venues cancelled? How they bang on the windows to the point that the women inside are afraid that they will break?

When will people like Lachlan realise that there are no words, no tone, and no volume that women can say disagree with these men that is acceptable? Get a fucking grip, man!

The Queens Speech podcast from Clive Simpson (retired mental health nurse) and Dennis Kavanagh (barrister) is a very good listen from the gay man pov.

This weeks episode was posted today and covers the New Zealand mob, I normally find it quite cathartic to listen to.

A list of WPUK meetings disrupted by or cancelled because of TRA's -

Because how dare women meet and discuss.

Dennis K's opening monologue was a thing of beauty

I think my favourite recent tweets were in response to someone claiming that there are no transwomen politicians, millionaires, in business etc and Maria just posted example after example of transwomen who are each of those things.

CryptoFascistMadameCholet · 26/03/2023 18:21

There are some male journalists who picked this up years ago and barely put it down since, eg James Kirkup and Brendan O’Neill

There are also quite a few male HCPs who have made masses of difference (I don’t know everyone’s sexual orientations when they are coming at this from a professional angle ) but obvs Marcus Evans is married to Sue Evans and Dr Az Hakeem is a gay chap.

Shout out to Dr David Bell and Anastassis Spiliadis.

And Alisdair Gunn who did all that amazing work with the new generation of online boy transitioners, writing under the pseudonym of Angus Fox

(Loads of brilliant women working on this side of things too, obvs - Sasha Ayad and Stella O’Malley and Lisa Marchiano and Sonia Appleby and Stephanie Davies Arie and I I really need to stop listing people now or I won’t get the dogs walked before it gets dark 🤣)

I really enjoy these two together.

And Barry too.

And obvs Mr Menno who has been an amazing supportive voice and friend to KJK.

Did I hear them mention a possible demo at the NZ embassy on Tuesday?

Grammarnut · 26/03/2023 18:33

BigPussyEnergy · 25/03/2023 10:17

So one group was protesting against the sexualisation of children and the other came out in support of that?

The group protesting about the sexualization of children was definitely not supporting the trans rights activists. They were objecting to gender ideology and queer theory sexualizing their children. It was pretty clear that whatever the trans rights people say a large majority of people in NZ do not believe 'Love wins' and are very worried about what that slogan might actually mean. When you remember that queer theory - which is one of the philosophical positions behind gender ideology - says there should be no boundaries between male and female, young and old, you do worry (a lot).

Grammarnut · 26/03/2023 18:35

Smug, entitled men shouting down women. Much love to you too. How do they not see that what they are doing is utterly misogynistic and contradicts the tolerance they want.

Rainonthehorizon · 26/03/2023 18:36

Dennis did mention it but seemed unsure if it was a certainty and I haven't seen any further information anywhere.

It is fascinating that no man could go the extra mile, because even though this battle impacts on men and women, boys and girls, only females can really argue from experience and inherent sex based rights.
So as a man, I may be as strongly GC as any woman out there, but I can't be on the front line.
That's why I think there can't easily be a male JKR or certainly KJK in this existential battle.
It's another reason why men cannot become women. Sex based rights are what they are, they're not transferrable.

Hepwo · 26/03/2023 18:37

L3ThirtySeven · 26/03/2023 15:03

I see intersex as on the border between male and female. So there are still two sexes, but intersex are on the line between the two.

I think intersex is a bit complicated as these are people assigned a sex at birth based usually on visual cues which can have the appearance of the opposite sex to what their chromosomes show. So a case can be made for intersex people learning which sex they are as they mature….and opting for medical treatment to nudge them off the line if they so wish.

As with any rule, there is always an exception. This doesn’t make sex not a binary. It’s a silly analogy but with sex there is male and female, with intersex on the border between the two. I visualise it like we have night and day, but dusk/dawn are on the border of night and day- they are a bit of both night and day. Doesn’t mean there is a third state of the planet as it rotates. It’s just a function of the fact that in nature there is always a blurred line between two states and intersex is that blurred line between two sexes.

What a lot of rubbish!

Posted after a number of sensible explanations which just make this "bit of night and day" twaddle more ridiculous.

Oh, Lachlan is still labouring under the misapprehension that Starmer's recent exclamations that he's "solved" the tension btwn women's tights and trans radical demands should be taken at face value, and the laydeez should all shut up now.
Posie is achieving more politically on one mission than Lachlan will ever do in his entire life.

What a horrible man.

He's still bitter his manifesto plan was rejected by the trans lobby in the last election.

Bitter people. All the lefty UK inner circle gang are so bitter about their own impotence.

Hepwo · 26/03/2023 18:48

He wanted to pump massive amounts of money into trans health treatment.

Imagine what that would have done to young people.

Graham Linehan has made it his battle on behalf of women and children mainly but Men have sex based rights too.

I was at a labour meeting at Grenfell pre lock down.

He presented about it then, his big complaint was that he wanted to ramp up NHS spending on transition but it got dropped.

I imagine he's a bit upset he didn't get his way funding GIDS.

These are his boasts if you can't be bothered to wade through his lengthy record of the internecine war that is the Labour party.

It meant a commitment to limiting the waiting times for access to the NHS Gender Identity Services (the service for adults) and also to the NHS Gender Identity Development Services (for children and young people).

I had played a role in getting those words into the 2019 manifesto and I was rather proud of that.

Yes, we also don't want women in our male-only spaces, our toilets, our changing rooms etc.
However a big part of the false angst of older male TRAs, and the seeming disinterest of so many men you'd think would be agitated, is the period 10-20 years ago where feminists actively agitated against male-only clubs and societies, and fathers came off very badly in the Family Courts (we all remember the megaphone wielding dads in Spider-Man costumes) who lost all contact with their children.
I'm convinced a big part of the bitterness towards women today is payback for that period of female pre eminence.

Well, that certainly demonstrates WHY girls of NZ should have spaces away from boys.

Nasty little shits.

Thankfully NAMALT, here’s Roddy Dunlop KC’s take on the assault on Kellie Jay
