This happened to dd this morning at school. She then came out of school at told me she no longer wants one to one help in her lessons - her EHCP says 25 hours a week. It’s too difficult to remember what to call him and she’s embarrassed she will get it wrong in front of the other students.

What now? I want to make a formal complaint. Am raging tbh. Can someone tell me who I need to be contacting please? The school are totally woke and rainbow soaked. Thank you.

Then she needs to get used to it, same with any other name she has heard for the first time. This is just such a non issue - you are talking about a child not liking someone's name!

I’m going to suggest it as newfangled appendage rather than a title. A gender neutral alternative to ‘esquire’…

Nothing to do with not liking a name. Everything to do with understanding that a child is unacceptably anxious because of some prick thinks he's fucking special and needs it affirming BY A CHILD. She knows she'll be in bother if she gets it wrong... THAT'S WHY SHE'S SCARED.

yes you are, if he HAS done something to upset her, then deal with that, but there is absolutely no indication here at all that he has done anything other than introduce himself, and the child has somehow taken offense and the mother is literally raging at the school because she doesn't like his NAME!

It is a completely normal title that has been around for decades, all over the world, and is becoming more normal

I have got my passport down now. Can confirm that it conforms to HM Passport Office regs and hence has no title for me.

It has my name, my sex, nationality, date of birth and a truly awful photo of me. No title!

well, I dont have a uk passport, and the title in my passport is Miss, but it could have been Mx if I had wanted it to be, and I think in most passports you can put a title if you want
