Kellie is still getting harassed by TRAs it seems. Come and support if you can at Trowbridge Police Station, midday on 24th Feb.

She asked for carrots this afternoon to help pay her legal fees and she is close to 5 and a half already, more than the 3 she needed urgently. What a woman.

Somanyquestionstoaskaboutthis
If I remember correctly she has been told she will be arrested at the airport if she tries to go to Australia before being interviewed @Felix125. Not very voluntary when faced with that is it

Can you document that - because that is wrong if she has been told this

She can decline her right to be vol interviewed or walkout of the interview at the start.

i would suggest that there will be no necessity to arrest her in any case as the incident happened in September.

Mate. Seriously.

Lets say @Somanyquestionstoaskaboutthis 'documents' this.

And KJK goes to the airport. And gets stopped from leaving the country.

What will she say - Felix on mumsnet said because @Somanyquestionstoaskaboutthis documented it, it would all be fine?

Just stop it.

Datun · 22/02/2023 13:15

Just stop it.

he won't do that, he likes it.

ILikeDungs · 22/02/2023 13:17

Well, it IS half term...

Pixiedust1234 · 22/02/2023 13:18

Kinda off topic so apologies.

I wonder what the closure codes were for David Carrick.

As I've said before he likes to police what women say about the police. We aren't allowed any of our own viewpoints or experiences. Time and time again.

dimorphism · 22/02/2023 13:24

Posie refuses an interview live on camera. She has made it clear she is only doing this under fear of not being allowed to leave the country - advice she received from her solicitor.

And it's the same as last time. She was told it was a voluntary interview, but if she tried to leave the country she would be arrested.

Coercive control and DARVO to boot. But the sunlight is blinding.

I don’t think that. You’re just jumping to the worst extreme because you disagree with me and so want to cast aspersions.

I'm not, I quoted your words, which you used to suggest that KJK had provoked the thrower of the smoke bomb. Your words, which you wrote and which I find utterly reprehensible.

I'm not casting aspersions, I'm using your own words against you.

What, in your opinion, could KJK have possibly done to provoke some arse to hurl a smoke bomb at her?

Somanyquestionstoaskaboutthis · 22/02/2023 15:03

@Felix125 as others have said, see her videos. I can’t remember which thread they’re on so you’ll have to look, or go to her videos direct.

Doesn't he just.

Plain old misogyny or something even less palatable?

TeiTetua · 22/02/2023 16:01

Perhaps it's been mentioned somewhere in this thread already, but--is there a record of what KJK actually said, or is claimed to have said, in Brighton, and who the offended party is? I wonder if the police have told her what the claimed offence consisted of, beyond "You got somebody very upset". And will they ever tell her?

Of course, I do realize that repeating her words might involve someone else in a similar crime, so be careful before responding.

BezMills · 22/02/2023 16:16

It will be fantastic when KJ reports on her conversation. Lovely lovely sunlight. Now if I recall correctly from the documentary series Line of Duty, there are two tapes in the beep machine. So hopefully she can play us some clips of her telling off the detectives her interview.

No details yet. I believe they are going to give her information about the complaint before her interview. I think she will prepare a statement and say nothing else at the interview.

BezMills · 22/02/2023 16:34

Yeah that's probably a lot better advice than "tell them off" to be fair. Always get good advice!

IwantToRetire · 22/02/2023 16:38

I am not sure what the purpose of all this speculation is.

An unknown person has made a complaint to the police.

Rightly or wrongly the police have decided the complaint is "credible" enough to follow up. But on the other hand dont think it serious enough to get PPs response but have left this drift for nearly 6 months.

So until PP and her solicitor are told what the complaint is about we dont know.

What we do know is that there are some people who try and use the police by making complaints, to harass individuals whose opinions they dont like.

And the police have been warned that they shouldn't let themselves be used as a means of trying to curtail free speech.

In a way its a shame its an interview. Would be great if it could be live streamed.

I suspect it would be a real eye opener for the public.

Is an individual being interviewed and / or their legal representative allowed to video or tape the interview?

BezMills · 22/02/2023 17:14

That's what the second tape in the beep machine is for surely? If only we had a prolific expert in copsplaining on the thread to save me a 10 second google

Felix125 · 22/02/2023 18:14

OK then - at the airport if she is stopped - what would be the necessity for the arrest then.....?

Baring in mind the offence took place in September

And, we are back to the mantra of “la la la can’t hear you, help help I’m being oppressed by jack booted fascist police” KJK fan club. Apparently KJK should be above the law, she shouldn’t have to put up with pesky complaints from the peasantry and the police should know their place and stay away from her £1m home’s front door.

Oh wow, the envy streaming out of this post. That's a sight to behold.

Also explains A LOT

Datun · 22/02/2023 13:11

Felix

Women don't go to the police to report a crime. Many women wouldn't dare.

They don't know if they'll be targeted, laughed at, asked out, flashed at, harassed raped or killed.

It's way beyond the point for many women that they would consider even the possibility that they would be taken seriously.

I know you know all that. You've been given Link after Link after link. You represent them perfectly.

What links do you have that show women don't report incidents to police?

Where we are the reports to police are pretty much 50/50 of men to women reporting incidents to police

And ONS will show the number of people reporting incidents to police is not 100% men

Felix125 · 22/02/2023 18:20

We don't use tapes now - its all digitally recorded.
You can get access to the recording if you wish at the end of your interview - there is a process in place which can give you access.

Are you allowed to make it public?

I completely agree - but for us to prosecute these, you will need evidence to show that it is a false report. In this case KJK can make a counter complaint - there is nothing stopping her from doing this and can do it via her solicitor.

Felix125 · 22/02/2023 18:25

Datun

Are you allowed to make it public?

I'm fairly certain you can't make it public before any court trial or if the investigation is still ongoing.

Solicitors normally apply for the recording before the trial in any case.

If they don't charge her and close the case, can she make it public then?
