I haven't had time to catch up on everything that happened but it just seems to go from bad to worse.
And all these politicians ready to inflame the situation, more it seems for their personal profile. I thought UK politics was a dog's dinner, but this is horrifying as they seem so willing to ignore the basic fact that the event is to give women a voice, because normally women aren't listened to. And they want to side with men vs men, and show not respect for women.
How apt that the event is called Let Women Speak.
Apart from whether SfW / KJK can sue for libel, I was wondering their is a press complaints procedure in Australia. Most of the articles aren't news / reporting. They are just political posturing.

Statement from Senator Claire Chandler:
Sadly, I no longer feel that delivering this speech in Canberra on Thursday will enable these voices to be heard. I haven’t seen a single word of a speech given at the last two events reported by Australian media, with the entire focus consumed by those there to disrupt and scream over the top of women trying to speak about their rights, or, in the case of the Melbourne event, to hijack the event and the media attention for their own abhorrent purposes.
There is no assurance that it is even going to be safe for women to attend Thursday’s event.
