Interesting that it would seem the SNP are realising that this is immensely unpopular amongst its voters and the general populace.

And it shines yet more light on Sturgeon’s ridiculous “Trans women are women except when it doesn’t suit my political ambitions they’re not” standpoint, as well as how women’s fears were dismissed only to be found entirely valid.

One of the old Blair guard were pointing out the idiocy last week and I found myself thinking - they were not people I generally agreed with, they had many faults and issues, they were very far from politicians I wanted to vote for - but they were streets ahead in quality of the current shower we're stuck with in every single party.

I'm no fan of Alex Salmond, but I enjoyed that clip.

I'm a bit stuck for who to vote for at the next election (whenever that is) as I want independence but certainly not at the price of throwing women and children under a bus. I will have to see who is standing and whether there is anyone I can actually vote for.

He said when the principal of self identification clashes with reality it dissolves to dust! The idea you can change sex opens the door to people like Isla Bryson and removes the rights of women to single sex spaces. He said he understood why women and feminists were angry.
