Exactly.
It all depends on which TRA is speaking, as to exactly how severe the gatekeeping they maintain shouldn't happen, should be.
India will maintain it's all down to the way they look, and the surgery they've had. Others claim it has to be because of a GRC and surgery is irrelevant. Still more say it's because they have been saying they are a woman for donkeys years, longevity innit.
It really is extraordinary how people expect women to agree that the definition of a woman is a man who's had surgery, or a man with a piece of paper, or a man who's been saying he's a woman for boringly long time.
I often think of Jan Morris and how they were always held up as a shining example of benign transwomanhood, who turned out to be a narcissistic control freak who abused their family.
There are meant to be hordes of transwomen who are perfectly delightful. We hear about them all the time. It's a shame none of those ever step up.
