Trump has peaked

Surely the gender nutters have to reverse ferret now? Surely?

Johnduttonsbuttocks · 01/02/2023 16:09

The stuff about encouraging people to seek legal redress and prosecuting big pharma might be enough to stop the gender cowboys.

DarkDayforMN · 01/02/2023 16:10

We are told endlessly that we're 'transphobes' for not following TRA bollocks. Trump actually is one.

I don’t know, I would guess that he doesn’t give a shit really. Many deeply misogynistic men don’t care, or see the trans movement as the men’s sexual rights movement it is and tacitly approve. Him only speaking out now suggests political opportunism, not any kind of deep convictions or strong feelings. But I guess it doesn’t matter much what motivates him; it’s clearly not concern for women or children.

"Child sexual mutilation"

The phrases he uses need to be said more often in general media.

He's not the greatest spokesperson for feminists (at all) but the language needs to be used more frequently in these debates.

It's all so sanitised it's become celebrated.

Someone stated that Trump types may have been what Sturgeon was alluding to (we'll pretend it wasn't just throwing mud and hoping some would stick).

When I saw that Trump had referred to 'child sexual mutilation' I wondered if that was a reference to what Sturgeon types (in many places) appear supporting/promoting. I'm referring to medicalisation (this happens as early as puberty blockers) and surgical interventions on physically healthy youngsters.

AngryGoblin · 01/02/2023 16:14

I never thought I'd agree with Trump but blimey.

ResisterRex · 01/02/2023 16:16

It's either child sexual mutilation or child sexual abuse to purposely stunt penile growth, remove breasts, and set a child on a pathway to sterility and no capacity for orgasm as an adult.

It can't be defended.

JacquotteDelahaye · 01/02/2023 16:17

Fuck me I'm glad I'm not American I would have to entertain just for a tiny moment whether I could vote for that sadistic, dangerous, narcissistic, racist, wife abusing little cnut.
Stopped clock and all that I guess.

StressedToTheMaxxx · 01/02/2023 16:18

For those saying he is a transphobe, what exactly has he done/said that is transphobic? Genuine question.

Datun · 01/02/2023 16:18

DarkDayforMN · 01/02/2023 15:25

Isn’t one of his main potential rivals for Republican nomination next time round making hay with this issue? DeSantis, or am I thinking of someone else? I haven’t been paying a huge amount of attention to US politics but it seems like he’s been a bit slow to read the room here. He’d be daft not to exploit this issue, it’s an open goal.

Yes it's DeSantis. And he has been making sounds about this.

Trump has spotted the zeitgeist. Maybe he was watching what happened to Nicola Sturgeon? Who knows.

He's decided to centre children and the irreversible surgery and raise the issue of pharmaceutical companies making money off them, which everyone knows.

And also aired the prospect of parents suing their arses off. In such a litigious country, that's dynamite.

it's a smart move.

The democrats will have trouble refuting any of it and while they try, the sunlight will be pouring in.

Trump just opened the can of worms that everyone has been trying to keep shut.

This will be interesting, but which ever way it goes, the one thing it will be is illuminating.

And that's all you need.

Whitefly · 01/02/2023 16:18

Wow, that was incredibly clear wasn't it? And almost everything we've been wanting, especially the ban on 'heathcare' and the indoctrination in schools. I'm really gobsmacked to see any politician say it as it as, and especially Trump, he's never been so articulate!

the fallout from this is gonna be huge...

This

Tabitha1960 · 01/02/2023 16:20

What strange bedfellows we feminists have found ourselves with!

PicklesAndTequila · 01/02/2023 16:24

It's a very weird thing to agree with Donald Trump.

Datun · 01/02/2023 16:25

Trump is a politician. He sees de Santis stealing a march on him and the fact this will resonate with parents - as de Santis proves himself.

it's interesting that people see this as a popular viewpoint. I wonder if they're all going to be out doing themselves to echo it.

Like we've seen here in the last few days. With reverse ferreting going on all over the shop.

What could possibly happen now? Is Joe Biden going to stand up and say, no, children aren't being mutilated. And yes women's sports should be open to males.

Lights, camera, action.

Datun · 01/02/2023 16:26

PicklesAndTequila · 01/02/2023 16:24

I don't agree with Donald Trump. He's a sexist pig, who wants women back in the kitchen.

But he's not stupid.

TheShellBeach · 01/02/2023 16:27

Trump is only saying this because he's an opportunist - not because he really believes in women's rights.

Tabitha1960 · 01/02/2023 16:20

‘Bedfellows’ is the wrong term. This is the default position. It is the gender ideologists who have gone crazy. We wouldn’t say ‘what strange bedfellows we find ourselves with’ if we disagreed with someone who said we were ruled by a rabbit in a hutch in their back garden in slough.

NeighbourhoodWatchPotholeDivision · 01/02/2023 16:29

SapphosRock · 01/02/2023 15:08

Oh bloody hell.

Why are the far right the ones getting it right??!

It's a matter of ultimate aims. Our current crop of left-wing ideologues want to achieve power to effect a vision for the national future. To this end, they will re-educate, browbeat, and coerce dissenting individuals who get in the way of that dream. The -50% of the population identifies as being female few will be sacrificed for the men-- many (or the few who identify as worth many people), and they will sacrifice the hopes and psychological wellbeing of as many as it takes!

Trump and others like him just want power for the attention. He has no real aim on what to do with his power except loot the country for money, so he's happy to listen to the people to find out what would get him their votes.

In this case though, he's been slow. His heart can't be in this one, if he's only noticed the opportunity now. I'd wonder if he secretly has thought that TW are non-men, and therefore they are women. His son spoke about keeping sport single-sex years ago. Has his son been trying to get Donald Trump Sr to see the issues all this time?

NeighbourhoodWatchPotholeDivision · 01/02/2023 16:32

Fuck, miss one hyphen and yiur joke is ruined.

The 50% of the population identified as being female few will be sacrificed for the needs of the men many (or possibly sacrificed for the few who identify as worth a great many people), and the ideologues will sacrifice the hopes and psychological wellbeing of as many as it takes!

Shelefttheweb · 01/02/2023 16:34

TheShellBeach · 01/02/2023 16:27

Trump is only saying this because he's an opportunist - not because he really believes in women's rights.

I disagree, not about women’s rights, but only saying this because he is an opportunist. He is also saying it because he believes it and because he is a ‘straight talker’ - which is what his followers like about him. You don’t need to believe in promoting women’s rights to believe in biology. I am not sure he would manage to take the alternative position even if it was a sure-fire winner; he just couldn’t deal with the level of dissonance required (though it might have been fun to watch him try).

ComfortablyDazed · 01/02/2023 16:35

We are dealing with facts here. With truth.

Hitler probably thought the sky was blue. That night follows day.

I think (know) the sky is blue. That night follows day.

Hitler thinking the same doesn’t make me question the colour of the sky. It does not make me his ally.

Some things are simple facts, and even the man who committed some of, if not, the worst atrocities in human history will agree with me on those facts.

The same principle applies here.

StressedToTheMaxxx · 01/02/2023 16:18

Trump is phobic about anyone who doesn't have his genes.

PicklesAndTequila · 01/02/2023 16:24

It's a very weird thing to agree with Donald Trump.

We said it first. He is merely agreeing with us. We make that much sense even this idiot gets it.

Xoxoxoxoxoxox · 01/02/2023 16:39

Perhaps some of the more mainstream media in the US will be emboldened to discuss the issues, an honest discussion is long overdue.

JustHereWithMyPopcorn · 01/02/2023 16:40

Ugh he's just hideous and, thanks to Biden's ridiculous policies, this monster will get back into the White House. I agree that the changes need to be reversed but not with this evil man.

tackling · 01/02/2023 16:41

I'm not a Trump fan. I cried when he won and celebrated like FUCK when he was out. His motives are not out of a desire for women's rights, that's for fucking sure.

Having said that ... ignore the giant dickhead for a moment, because he's just a tool and prop for a movement.

He's speaking to people he and his team know well how to exploit, and they obviously think this message will land well, that this issue is upsetting or annoying "normal" people too and no longer a niche internet Twitter issue.

That's interesting.

WarriorN · 01/02/2023 16:43

The problem Americans have is that it's much harder to to be centrist and hold a mix of views.

I'm not sure how well this will play out, however, if it gets discussion going that will be a bonus.

Day524 of being a girl is getting a bit of kick back on tiktok etc I still think he's trolling
