I haven't seen data on anorexia to know whether or not its declined. Is there any?

I absolutely believe this to be true - but I don't think you'd be able to get any decent stats as the mental health support services are in such crisis at the moment.

So CAMHS won't accurately record as they are so far behind / the severity has to be so bad nowadays - you wouldn't really be able to compare to say the figures from the 2000s

As a result, Possibly BEAT would report an increase in cases but more to do with CAMHS failing rather than more people with the disease?

According to the NHS, a record number of people are being treated for eating disorders.

Cracking article. Hopefully the beginning of the end.

It's good to see commin sense in a newspaper. Be interesting to see I this sort of normal language is now allowed to stand as prior to this saying any 1 of the things she said would be enough to get a teacher put on disciplinary or a civil servant sacked. It's the culture of the institutions that has been captured in exactly the way planned in the Denton report, let's hope this is the final piece of the end of this madness.
