The furry has been posting on the Glasgow sub Reddit. Pics of his face n his profile. He also identifies as Druid and a Pagan.

Whenever I see photos of these people, I wonder how much do they honestly understand why they are there? It's like a cosplay party with the added benefit of giving the finger to women who remind you of your mom who you still live with. You're mad she told you to clean your room and "for god's sake take shower once in a while."

The atmosphere was great. Felt very safe, could barely hear the TRA karaoke or whatever they were up to. A lot of cheering, applauding, singing etc!

I'm looking through Twitter, have discovered the coloured hair person who tore the sign from the woman in the rickshaw had their mittens on a string looped through their coat arms.

I personally commend them for their intelligent thinking.

Tbf it was that cold, a furry costume might have been the perfect attire today. Amazing women. Amazing. So pleased.

Also nice to see the TRA side have realised how awful their intimidation tactics look. I think it might start being safer and more pleasant for more women to join and swell the ranks.

I know a lot of women who have suffered violence, aggression and so forth who don't feel that they could cope with the upset. But if they feel it would be safe a lot more will come.

Re the TRA tactics - somebody had suggested the lack of furries was down to optics, and I came across these 2 things, one from a newspaper report and one via Twitter from the sad little furry who did show up.
I’m not convinced they’ll stick to this (& everybody didn’t today, did they) but nice to see a bit of self-awareness developing…

This is genuinely one of the most pathetic TRA tactics I've seen. On every single one of Glinner's twitter posts, every single post by a TRA is a comment along the lines of 'where's your wife'. It's the new addition to the collection of TRA mantras - I suppose TRA's want to avoid ripped to shreds by their own thought police so they follow the script verbatim and just detach any critical thinking skills.

Euan Yours is an activist for the Scottish Greens. Very vocal about how the Green Party in E&W are 'transphobic'. Has decided that there were actual Nazis at the event today because people with a wide range of political views attended a public, non ticketed event. Is doing outraged guilt by association while determinedly not condemning the 'decapitate terfs' sign at a recent protest. Seems to have no issue with the truly odious Picklebee or various other issues within the Scottish Green Party.

Russell Findlay is a Conservative MSP who was one of the MSP's to suggest amendments to the GRR bill to ensure safeguarding for women, particularly relating to the GRC process and convicted sexual offenders. The amendments were voted down. Whatever you think of his political views, it can't be denied that he's been stauch about the need to review the current prison policy in Scotland.
