Maybe they mean pansexual? Lesbuan already has a meaning.
See this is why it's a religion, you just said it's not all about chromosomes. So it is all about a strong belief in stereotyped gender roles overruling biology.
Personally I see gender as a social construct of oppression and believe gender identity is personality. Boys can like glitter and dresses and still be boys. I can have short hair and like trousers and be bossy as a woman.
Sex is just your body and has very little bearing on who you are. Therefore cis is offensive.

It’s not about thinking differently that’s like racists say oh well I think diff about black people yes you can think trans women are not women but the rudeness that your posts were deleted and picked up by otters shows a level of transphobia

Otters picked up my post? Oh no.

On a serious note, you sound really upset to the point where you're incoherent. I'm sorry you're so upset, but you have to accept that you cannot force people to believe, or even accept, your religion.

Freespirit42 · 30/10/2022 12:39

334bu · 30/10/2022 12:38

the thing as I say there are indeed lesbians that do date trans women prob after full operation and think they are dating a woman

Are you implying that some transwomen will deliberately conceal their male sex to have sex with a lesbian?

No see how you guys twist my words that’s what I am saying

See I think all the same as you but I also think trans men are men and trans women are women I don’t say boys can’t do what they want etc and nor does any trans person I know and I am cis as that’s Latin and the opposite of trans

Wow made one spelling mistake

334bu · 30/10/2022 12:46

Sorry if we are upsetting you Freespirit and you can believe what you will but don't expect others to share your belief system.

Boomboom22 · 30/10/2022 12:50

But cis means identifying with the same gender as your sex and as I do not believe in gender as a soul type thing cis does not apply. It us not the opposite of trans. Also women are not a subset and transmen are women, transwomen are a subset of men not of women. If boys can do what they like why is it a problem to be a subset of their actual sex?

Baldieheid · 30/10/2022 12:50

It was funny, you made me laugh. I'm afraid I have a rather wry sense of humour, of course I knew what you meant.
My point stands. You're upset and clearly angry.
I'm angry, too.

I'm watching a loophole being created by my own government, that would allow Jack The Ripper to provide intimate care to a profoundly disabled teenage girl under the guise of being female.

Why aren't you angry about that?

Hang on unless you saw the deleted posts your beliefs don’t upset me yes I think they are wrong what upsets me is blatant saying oh trans people not welcome may get attacked as if that’s ok so you can fear for women fine but then to have blatant transphobic mmm not so good

TeenDivided · 30/10/2022 12:50

@Freespirit42 If transwomen are women, can you tell me how you are defining women please (in a non circular definition)? This is the point that is never very clear to me. Thanks.

MagpiePi · 30/10/2022 12:50

Do you really think a woman wouldn't be able to tell it was a man who had surgery?

Because I don’t buy the fear stories here’s why I currently have carers in my flat four times a week if I don’t like said carer I can say oh please send me someone else or I go else where so a teenage girl family can request someone else if they don’t like said carer that can happen now so no I don’t buy the horror stories. I also am not scared of trans women because I don’t lump everyone in as bad

I will tell you this have you seen some trans women I have and they look bloody gorgeous better looking than me so I think in some cases it could be hard especially if had puberty blockers etc

If you tell me you are a woman I believe you why wouldn’t I? There is no definition there doesn’t need to be since women can look like what they want in various shapes and sizes that’s how I see it any way

That’s disgusting as I know trans women that don’t wear wigs and look better than I do so you know

Sorry, for a word to have meaning it has to be able to be defined, especially if that word is used in law.
Have another try. What is a woman? If you can't even define it you may as well be speaking gibberish.

334bu · 30/10/2022 12:59

Some men are indeed gorgeous and most men are decent too. However, statistically male people do present a known danger to vulnerable women and that is why we have safeguarding policies. Allowing a subset of male people, despite their sharing the same patterns of criminality as other men, to be excluded as a potential risk, is to say the least bonkers.

TeenDivided · 30/10/2022 12:59

How can we communicate clearly and how can I say whether I am a woman if you won't tell me what one is?

Read my post again.

A loophole that will allow any predatory male access to vulnerable females by claiming transhood.

If a simple claim is all that it takes, anyone and everyone is trans. Everyone. A simple promise and maybe a fiver for an admin fee.

Are you really so unimaginative and sheltered that you cannot conceive of that loophole being used by someone with bad intentions?

Asdavaluesausage · 30/10/2022 13:21

Careful @Freespirit42 your homophobia is becoming extremely transparent. A lesbian is a female homosexual. They sleep with females only.

males claiming they are ‘lesbians’ are no different than the blokes down the pub saying the same thing. Both disgustingly homophobic. Fuck off with that shit. The word lesbian is taken and it does not include males in any way shape or form.

@Freespirit42 Sorry in case you missed it, this is for you.

Still waiting on a definition of woman. Come on, if you know that trans women are women (despite apparently trans meaning on the other side of), you must be able to define woman in a non circular way. Once you have defined it I'll know on what basis we are talking and whether or not I fit in to your definition.

👏 100% with bells on. If some lesbians have discovered that the like having sexual with men that identify as women they can crack on but they are no longer lesbians. As you said, that title is taken. If they want to make up another term for this sexuality then go ahead, but they do not get to change the goalposts of being a lesbian.

VinoDino · 30/10/2022 13:32

Have we got a definition about what a woman is yet @Asdavaluesausage? Feel like I'm skipping round all the threads waiting for this big elusive answer that I'm never going to get 😂

Asdavaluesausage · 30/10/2022 13:34

@VinoDino no none yet. I have a feeling we’ll never get one. I love the fact these posters can’t define ‘woman’ but are very sure that transwomen are women. If they can’t define woman, how do they know a TW is one? And I’ve run out of pastries 😢😢😢😢
