My main thought was: ah, momentum. It’s worse than useless when you never manage to pick the right direction. You’d be much better off with sensible direction and no momentum.

Used to be. Izzard was confident and bold about being a transvestite and a man who wore make up and skirts. Then he started going on about being in woman mode or being in man mode, and then he decided that, from now on, he would live in woman mode and wanted to be called she/her. Now fully considers himself to be a woman.

He was a great comedian.

Eddie Izzard is helping to peak so many people who hadn't realised that "trans woman" meant any fully intact male putting on a dress and lippy and demanding to be called "she". This, and the Channel 4 plinky plonker, are the point at which people start to point out that the Emperor is indeed naked (and is indeed a man).
